The only reasoning for the hard date I can think of is production numbers for the figure or for some quota for the Hasbro license. If it was one of those, I'm not sure why they wouldn't just say it at this point.

Next they'll start demanding an apology from the members.

I'm sure there are those who would say they're sorry they gave the club their CC info.

It'll start at the con where we'll have to get in a long long line and be made to personally tell Brian we're sorry for putting him in a situation to have our credit cards stolen. Then we'll have to hug him and say we hope he gets through this troubled time. Next it'll be brought online. Anybody that crosses the line and goes against this will be thought that more hackers got into the system and are posting nonsense. It'll be suggested people close their accounts, email address, and forum memberships so they will not have this breech. It'll also be suggested to stay offline to be safe. Only log in to see what new products they have and mail them a check for what you want.

Yep, that'll be our future as club members, hehe.

Most likely the former as I don't see the Hasbro quota being that inflexible. With Hasbro releasing a statement about the breech they would (hopefully) be willing to extend any deadline they imposed on the Club. No, I think its the Club only having a short window for production on Footloose (and probably the con sets as well) and they can't push it back or risk losing their place in line. That's just the way production works and with the small quantities the Club produces compared to Hasbro and the like the Club is probably lucky to get the production window they did. Doesn't make it right and they should come out and say that if that's the case but it is the most logical explanation.

well I changed my stuff today. I haven't purchased anything from them in a while, and have only seen weird 1$ charges for some places on line I don't go. got my whole 2 dollars back. Currently awaiting a new debit card. Which changing out that info, and having the bank check for suspicious activity, pain in the ass.

Yep, that's how it starts. How they check it That's what I got hit with and put a stop to it before the big charge happened. I should get my new card in a few days. I'm just glad a lot of the card companies are making it easy on most of us. It was a simple call and only about 10 minutes wasted, which I can't complain much on that.

Pete, you provide exclusive products to toy addicts. That's like the only dealer in town saying they have a loyal customer base.

Let's make one thing perfectly clear, you don't have a loyal customer base, the product you alone provide does. Nothing else the club has done for as long as I can remember would attract anyone to spend time on the site. The activity, or lack thereof, on your forums, says it all, and the lazy way the site is maintained and the abominable length of time between any kind of update on anything says even more. Nobody there is even bothering to try anymore.

I feel this sums up soo much of the way I feel.

I intend to attend the Convention, to Do so I have to be a registered member of the club, I may as well be registered and get Footloose.

So I sent in my Registration/membership along with a Money Order.

We'll see if I have any issues with my registration... :shifty:

You should be fine. You sent a ninja, and I hear they are stealthy, so they won't be able to connect him to you. :whistling:

That there is epic. But yeah, that guy sums it up perfectly. They're the only game in town for exclusive Joe items. They don't actually do anything for the community, they just profit off of addiction.
