Well, funding means the money's gonna come out of your account when it's over. So funding day is when it gets real for the all-in bidders, who aren't getting a good deal. I'm guessing cold feet happened along those lines

148 all in backers currently. If they all were to back down to spending about $250, the total would drop by $30,000.

I agree with this. I threw in for what I wanted and I hope this KS happens, but if it fails it's because of this (among, apparently, other shenanigans).

I think it's in trouble. They need like $14,000 a day from here on out to get it where I think most of the all-ins won't bail. $2000 a day won't even unlock a new character.

So it's dipped back down to unfunded.

So doing the math (with shipping included), you can spend $384 and get 15 figures. Or $450 and get 6 figures and a t shirt.

Something about that doesn't seem right.

Their refusal to guarantee a minimum number of figures even if it means getting doubles or perhaps triples of the base 6 figures created that scenario. Some would back out anyway with a guarantee as they may not want multiples, but a lot would stay and then sell figures after the fact. The way it is currently setup you would have to be insane to stay all in unless they more than double the money in the next 12 days. So the safe zone for this thing to avoid bottoming out at the last minute is probably around $160,000. If my conservative calculations are close to correct.

And they are no where near unlocking the vigilante with their 555 requirement.

Unfortunately I don't see a way for them to fix that issue.

They put out an update today that hints at them revealing a guaranteed number of figures tomorrow. But who knows what stipulations they will attach to it.

Well. It's business not personal.
I know that is hard, and it is most likely VERY personal to the the CFT crew and team as they have poured their hearts and souls into this and NOBODY likes to fail.
But....
This is business, and the market is speaking. What the market has to say at the end of the day in the next weeks is anybodies guess. Watching it whipsaw up and down over the past day or so cannot be easy.

I am pretty excited about this, even more so with WestWorld starting on HBO, but you can't force the market. The market forces you.

What the next few days brings is anybodies guess.
I will hope for it, but I have to weigh risk in the final hours.

The guaranteed number of figures update really brings down the $ per figure for All In. I hope it's enough to keep All In pledges holding steady or even gain some.

Under the original All In pledge it was ~$75 a figure, with the seemingly guaranteed 12 (which appears to include one blank) figures it's now ~$37. That's not counting the pack of heads and the accessory packs.

Westworld has also reinforced my interest in this line. Which I hope will influence more collectors to pledge who are interested.

I think part of the initial PR problem is relying on fans of historical (or fictional but based on historical) western themed toys. There's room here to draw in action figure collectors who are into Firefly/Serenity, collectors who are interested in games like Red Dead Revolver/Redemption, or even Westworld (an amazing re-imagining so far).

Here are the details

To ensure a reasonable return for your pledge (beyond seeing the line made), we are going to add an additional 5 unique characters to your pledge level. These figures will be automatically added, and will become available to "All-IN!" backers (and above) along with the initial offerings and the added "Most Wanted" 5 pack of mug shots.

"All-IN!" reward level:

Marshal
Territories Lawman
Trail Boss
Saloon Bartender
Ranch Hand
KP Trooper
Sharpshooter
Fire Brigadier
Cowpuncher
Man in Black
Cardinal Red T-Shirt
Sticker
Boot Hill Loot Gear #1
Boot Hill Loot Accs #1
Buck-A-Roo #1
Most Wanted head 5 pk
Badlands Vigilante
As you may note, the KP Trooper is now automatically added instead of being reliant on the unlock of the Badlands Vigilante to the rest of the pledges. You will still have the option to add a second Badlands Vigilante if those unlock conditions are met (it appears they will be) before the end of the KS campaign. Also included is the first set of Boot Hill Loot (accs & gear) as well as the first Buck-A-Roo automatically.

We hope that this guarantee of items whether they are unlocked or not, will give you confidence to maintain your pledge and see this lineup come to market. Once again, thank you for your support at these high levels.

This is the last set of changes we'll be making to the KS campaign. As stated above, and previously, once the budget structure is set, it's very difficult to move things around, but we've managed to do it to reward the "All-IN!" backers. Once again, thank you for your support! -CFT

I'm extremely surprised at the direction they went. Dumbfounded actually. That has to be a huge financial risk for them if it doesn't generate a bunch of money.

I think the thought of HellScreamerz launching their KS tonight accelerated the timing of this.

Plus, there's still Zombie Labs coming at some point -

And Falcone is putting something together, too.

Now, back to DNL: is there any incentive to go all-in vs just buying some 'pick 5' ?

It looks like they are getting some of the Stretch Goal characters regardless of whether or not the Stretch Goals are met. Like the Fire Brigadier.

I'm still not thrilled with the offering, I can still purchase 3 to 4 of the gather the posse, then switch out parts and create other unique figures. I mean its better but I'm more interested in the heads pack. I can see multiple uses for those with my other customs. I'm actually surprised that nothing has been said about the figures that are clearly "Johnny West" and "Colt Cobra". I had those two as a kid and I would love to have them in this size but not at that price.
