Right now the only one with a removable hat is the KOTCS "old man" Indy with skull. Just about all the Indy figs have the same articulation, except for the RPG Indy (no wrist art.), whipping Indy (action feature), and a couple of the deluxes don't have knee articulation.

look at the bottom, I missed it too, and had Indy jumping on the back trying to take over the bike and it kept on falling and I thought, sure wish it had a stand, turned it over, what do you know, it does. It's on the bottom between the foot rests.

Just picked up a couple more figures lastnight.

My son got a German Soldier for his Indy to fight, and I grabbed the Horse set.

I must say I am extremely impressed with Hasbro on the horse! Ball jointed head, ball jointed knees, ball jointed ankles,... WOW!

The standard "front to back" joints on the shoulders and hips, and "up and down" joint on the neck were pretty much what I expected. But to add all of the ball joints too... best articulated horse I've ever seen!

Also grabbed the Indy with the Ark deluxe pack this morning, but I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet.

Finally saw these in-store yesterday.

I have to say... NOT impressed. They looked way better in the pictures.

The vehicles tempt me, however - especially that truck. Don't like the price point, however :(

I almost got the troop carrier last night, but opted for the 12" talking Indy. I'm really impressed by the quality in the outfit, though they could have included a satchel for him. The way the hair is sculpted, the hat looks a little silly because it stretches out and contorts, making the brim droop down like it's soggy. I'm actually thinking about cutting off the hair above the sideburns and gluing the hat down like the whipping Indy's.

Gaigaan-Dnok, I agree about the horse. Awesome articulation, just like the Sigma 6 Timber and the AT tiger. Add to that awesome horse, an Indy figure with gloves and a cool wide-leg stance. I think it's my favorite Indy version now.

Hmmm, I've yet to see that Indy, sounds like a winner though.

It's a nice one John. It's the standard ROTLA Indy with a different belt & hands painted as gloves, but a nice figure to have. Plus, the horse is awesome.

For anyone looking for German soldiers:

Wal-Mart.com has the 2-packs (45 at the time of posting):

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9192618

And Toys R' Us.com has the singles (78 at the time of posting):

I already have enough to man my 2 trucks and 1 troop car, and I am trying really hard not to go back and stock up on some more.

You could make a pretty neat Cobra Commander with the 'last crusade' Colonel Vogel figure. I've attached a photoshop mock-up.

I haven't gone crazy with them, only picked up a few I really wanted. Only thing I've noticed is that you really have to pay attention to the paint apps. I've seen tons of googly-eyed figures. What, are they Ace's long lost siblings? Picked up the Indy with the Ark today. Glad to see that it opens. Thinking about using some of that ecto-plasm junk that come with the Mega-blok monsters to ease out of it.

I had a target card eating away at me so I bought the jeep and Indy w/ark. plus I had that web coupon for $5 off. Jeep is pretty cool. The soldiers can't hold that gun though. I only bought indy w/ark for the ark, but the figure isn't bad either...I just need a differenthead for him and take off the robe. The ark is pretty damn cool though. my only nitpick with it is it needs the handles so I can have my german troops carry it.

I couldn't find anymore good Indy figs, but i came across Sallah, so i went to Wal-Mart.com and ordered the German Soldier 2 pk. and Indy w/Ark, they are to arrive at the store in a week, not to bad, after the first couple days the retailers should have known that these was gonna be raped, cause that's what i saw in my area.
