got nothing....wasted many hours. In the beginning I had pink zarana in my cart but couldn't get past the 1st checkout...lame

I was at a point if I got it, I got it. I have been really over all. I know my posts may not sound like it, but I'm not frantic over it. I just do like throwing out discussion topics on the subject though as it makes for good conversation talking about the events such as these.

This is another one of those instances where knowing how something was going to play out in advance didn't make it any easier for me to endure.

I was absolutely sure she'd sell out and pretty fast. And I anticipated some serious technical issues. But I had one of each of her in my cart at 10:45 and was still trying to get through checkout at 12:20. By the time it finally got to the confirmation screen, both were sold out.

Makes me feel a little better about the roughly $15 premium I paid to secure one of the classic pink ones up front a couple of weeks ago. But the whole experience makes me feel worse about the line, the business and collecting as a whole.

About the only thing that would make me feel remotely better would be for Hasbro to come out and say: "Gee, you guys have been right all along. I guess there is a market for female figures. We're sorry we didn't listen to you. Here's a redeco of Zarana in her con colors packed with Zandar and Heartwrencher in a HTS three-pack that we've made in ample numbers. Enjoy!"

I for one aint happy, i tried & it seemed like forever, i got to put 2 Indy sets in my cart and 1 Sentinel, then i got to take 1 Indy set out, ready for checkout and never got to the second part, it kept booting me, then the page wouldn't load, total freakin BS, i'll just get 2 Sentinels like i said before from TRU and paint the other, HTS.com equals FAIL !

This was my first SDCC-related shopping experience with HTS. I think I am one of the lucky few that actually got through to complete purchases.

I was on the site early and luckily refreshed the moment Starscream came available. I didn't see any Zarana items so I immediately proceeded to checkout. That went by very quickly and I had my confirmation e-mail for 11:16AM.

I then kept waiting until they posted the Zaranas. By that time, there was massive slowdowns on the site and I accidentally added multiples of both the CS Z & regular Z to the cart.

This was rough and I spent nearly 40 minutes of page timeouts, network error prompts and refreshing until I finally got through to the purchase confirmation and got my e-mail for 12:12PM. This time around, the session just stopped at every single stage.

A couple of times, the payment page came up and I had to re-populate the charge info.

As of right now, I have e-mail and payment confirms for a Starscream, CS Z and regular Z but I think this is tenuous because I see many folks from that same time frame saying that the Z's were sold out by then.

They charged my account but I seriously see them sending e-mails that they oversold and it is no longer available.

Honestly, not going to believe this until I have them in hand.

For those who didn't get through, I hope you can find what you are looking at a reasonable price.

I think I'm totally with many here in just plain fed up with how everything was handled. I had one of each (Starscream Striker, both Zaranas and the Indy set), only to have the page never load for check out. I had to remove the Starscream from my cart after he sold out and still with no luck, then same with both Zaranas. It's total crap.

If Hasbro cared about us (the collector, the reason they stay a float in the non-movie periods), they will try and do something to fix this. I don't see that happening and I can see that I'll just quit collecting Joes, as I already did with Star Wars because of price. Sad thing is that Hasbro has the action figure market cornered and there isn't really any other companies that make anything as good, even with all the BS they feed us.

I don't ever remember collecting being this tough back in the '80s. Plus that was a time that many didn't have cash to blow on nearly everything, as I know I didn't being a kid and all. Even before all this hype of "lets make everything an exclusive crap," collecting was much more easy. I don't know about others, but this is a hobby for me. With the way Hasbro likes to do things, this starts to look less and less like a hobby and more like work and not the work you want to do. Hobbies are for escaping from all the crap that goes on in the world, so why keep with the game that Hasbro likes to play, if you can't escape the crap? I think it's all just getting too despressing for me, like anything to do with the news or government nowadays.

To put it in the words of Spin Doctor: "I'm done being the fat girl to Hasbro! When are we going to be the hot chic in Hasbro's eyes?" Are we not the ones that buy the crap more than any parent or kid combined?

For some reason I actually feel worse about this year than last year. For one, I can forgive the issues because it was a first run for HTS, I could see how they didn't see it coming.

I wanted slaughter, but had a feeling he would sell out, my interest was more with the Marvel exclusives. I had troubles, but I got through after a few tries, it was frustrating but took me like 20 minutes.

This year I spent 2 hours trying like hades to get through and no luck, this time it was actually worse for me. Not sure how refective that is to everyone else but I am generally persistant, this time I gave up, and I never give up.

I need to go back ot my old philosophy of "If Hasbro wants my money they need to bring products into avenues I can purchase them."
