I gotta agree the figures themselves look pretty darn cool.

Having a set of Western themed set of figures in 1/18th scale harkens back to the Johnny West twelve inch figures-which I think a majority of us are familiar with.

I'd love to get them, but it is not an option for me right now.

That's going to be the issue I'm seeing is if they just barely fund, they have to cover the all in people that stuck to it. That means they will have a surplus of each figure beyond the all in deliveries. They just can't go and offer that on a webstore later for $25 a figure when it's going to cost people $37 now. They would have to make it fair to the backers and put the figure at $40... which won't work for the people who would buy later. It's not going to be fun figuring it out.

I'm hoping this is successful and they learn their lessons going forward because if they can do Native American characters in their planned wave 2, I'm all over them for a Turok: Dinosaur Hunter custom.

I could probably pull it off relatively well with a 25A Spirit, but I'd prefer the iconic look from the Valiant comics.

Yeah, I'd love to have fodder for a lot of Native customs. Turok, Red Wolf modern and future, American Eagle...

I'd be super stoked if they made a head that looked like Turok from Valiant and had a head with shorter hair that could be used for Andar's grand son.

Man. It's back under $130,000. At this point, it only takes 25 of the 150 all-in pledges to back their pledge down from $450 to $250 and it won't fund.

For my part I did decide to risk the warnings and pledge for a small number of figures.

While Kicktraq isn't anywhere near 100% accurate since it is a predictive model and not a crystal ball, it has the project trending at $164,000 now. The incentive for the All-In right now is that you are promised figures that most likely won't get unlocked otherwise. I guess you just have to figure out whether or not the co$t is worth what you end up with.

I pledged for the orginal five. But I'm thinking that I'd just as soon have a few of the head packs to use with my other customs. If these are gonna be sold on their website I can always pick up the figures later. But the heads I'm thinking new joes or eagle force characters. Plus I'm not at too much risk if it goes belly up. Also they talk about the cost of tooling but when you look the actual figures seem to only be a mixture of two sets of feet, three sets of legs, two torsos, and maybe two different arm sets.

Yeah I'm in for 3-4 figures and two head sets. 4 figures if I can get the vigilante

Mark- Stop jinxing things! :) We are going to continue to bounce for a bit longer. There is a certain group out there who are mad at being told that things aren't going to be run the way they want, and they are all dropping out. We are making up ground as they leave with new smaller pledges and at some point shortly that will reach an equilibrium. Some of those dropping out will come back later, but for now they are mad.

But it's comments like this that make people not want to support this. It's not that people are mad it's that with basically three kickstarters at the same time, people want the best deal. Also, it's a buyers market, if buyers don't feel they are getting a good deal, then they will spend their money elsewhere.

Exactly. We have a finite amount of expendable income. There are even backers over there bullying other backers as if them not wanting to spend $10 more per figure to be all in is selfish. They say go all in in no matter what your intentions because you can always back down. Well, for me and many others who are capping this at like $125, they don't want us pledging all in with the plan to drop out regardless. That would just make the bottom drop out at the end.

I'm afraid that may happen anyway. Theres a lot that I would like to have but I'm only willing to spend so much, at least on this one.

So I went to check out the Facebook group comments in the last few days since the updates happened.

Wow, I am seriously considering dropping my pledge and having nothing to do with it regardless of how much I really like the designs they have. The whining about not enough people being interested was already a negative for me, but I was willing to ignore it. Someone posting and saying anyone who isn't there just to fellate the KS should shut up is quite a bit more onerous to ignore and gives a very bad look in my opinion.

So, I've been away for like 3 years or something but I thought I'd weigh in. I was all over these but the negativity of the team behind it drove me away.

Those kp troopers though keep calling

Going for the hellscreamers now.
