third update of the game, v20130610, just went live today, including the game's first event.

Cobra's Simulation Chamber lets you play through Cobra's version of the X-Men's Danger Room, where your Cobra squad gets to romp around fighting duplicates (sometimes even triplicates) of a handful of joes.

For some reason, Snake-Eyes isn't one of them. Weird, I'd assume any Cobra agent would like to kick his ass in simulation, at least.

As with events on other similar games, players are able to get limited edition cards from the event.

The Good: You can get () Barricade (), Pathfinder in black, and Tunnel Rat. And if you're really good, you get your hands on an Epic Rare Quick-Kick, which has really really nice art.

The Bad: You also have the chance to get a RARE card from the game... Hector Ramirez. Once again, somebody from the game company deemed it worthy that this sunbow reporter can have a limited edition RARE card. This joke has got to stop soon.

I hate to be argumentative here, since everyone's opinion may vary, but this might be the most bad ass the character has ever been.

Actually my comments have to do with his card stats, which only max'es out to just a measly "1"... this is in comparison to some cards having stats going beyond 1000+.

I deemed it bad to play hard in the game just to be rewarded with such a weak, "rare" card. I would much rather get another version of a Snake-Eyes card that I can use in the game missions (that's saying a lot, since I hate Snake-Eyes).

So there are a bunch of pre-register codes out there now that get you exclusive cards. However I have no idea if you can pre-register with each one of these codes and get all of the cards or not. I used the same e-mail address with each pre-registration and it didn't give me an error so who knows. Anyway, here are the codes. And Stormshadow also comes with any pre-registration.
