One of my coworkers also works at a gaming store. He was all excited for the new release of the Magic cards last weekend.

I'd kill for a midnight release of new GIJOE at retail like they did with Star Wars...

Saw one of the Star Wars sites saying Hasbro says this won't be until September now. Wonder if this is only for the Star Wars stuff or all SDCC exclusives. Also curious if they are doing this to actually produce additional pieces.

I just checked HTS and noticed that NONE of the Star Wars items are showing up with a current listing. The Marvel, Magic, and Joe-related stuff is all listed and still mentioned the 8/14/2017 date.

Oddly enough, JBL was asked to remove the "available at HASCON" line from the press materials on the Cobra Missile Command Headquarters after we made the original post. Go figure.

It ended up costing as much as the set itself for her to ship it. :cry:

It was very specific to Hasbro Star Wars SDCC exclusives. No other brand was mentioned in the PR email.

Don't feel bad. Even most/many that did remember got nothing. It was out of stock in a few minutes.
