"Cool Toy Review: Will you be carrying over lessons learned from feedback received from the 25th line into the movie line, i.e. better articulation for action poses, stronger hands, etc.? Speaking of the 25th Anniversary line, will some version of the 25th line run concurrently with the movie line? We'd hate to see the "classic" character releases come to a complete halt while popularity momentum continues to build.

Hasbro: The movie line will feature a blend of movie and classic characters and is being led by the same team which brought you 25th anniversary. This line will delight both collectors and kids!"

Like Hawk said, kinda how they handled Transformers movie toys and also the way they seem to be doing Indiana Jones too.

That's not so bad, though. After the first wave of Transformers movie toys, they started making movie versions of characters that weren't in the movie. Movie-inspired repaints of Flint and Lady Jaye would be pretty cool in my book. Or the Dreadnoks to match movie Zartan, who will probably be pretty different from 25th Zartan. And characters with sci-fi elements like Flash redone in a realistic style. There's potential for some interesting figures.

I wonder if the second SDCC exclusive will be a "Mighty Mugg" figure. That seems to be Hasbro's new thing. I do not see it being a Sigma figure, a 12" figure is possible. A 12" PDD would rock! As for the 3 3/4" inch, maybe Super Trooper? They would need a new tooling for the chest armour and shield. Or as someone else said maybe Chamelon, with a new head?

I also hope we have a chance to get the figure at Joe con, doubt it, but hope!

I just read somewhere else last night, on one of the boards other Q&A's (can't remember which site right now) that one of the exclusives is going to be 3.75" and the other won't be. So that knocks out both Zap and Short Fuze. Hasbro has done a pretty good job so far, although the Grunt figure and move was pretty dumb. Hopefully they aren't returning to their "old" ways of antagonism with their client base.

What if the non 3 3/4" figure is the Sigma 6 Scarlett that everyone went, "Waah, why don't we get her?" when they saw the prototype last year?

Because that was just a sculpted sample, there was no actual tooling ever done for that figure, so no chance of production.

Really, with the focus so clearly being on 3 3/4" and 12" this year, I don't see how it could possibly be anything other than that.

I wouldn't mind, but I couldn't see it... ;)

Unless they release 25th Joe Colton and Sigma 6 Joe Colton, who was molded. That would be awesome.

No, no it wouldn't.

Now if they want to release them en mass. . .
