gotta love the randomness of toy hunting. strolled through the toy section of my Kroger (grocery) superstore. They've had MU comic packs languishing for awhile, mostly the Captain Britain pack, with a few others I either already had or didn't want. No changes in their stock for months. Today I see they comic packs are marked down to $10.49 on close-out, and I decide to peek again, in case I could find a use from any figures in the old sets. Then I see one of the the Thanos-Adam Warlock pack, and the Gambit-Mr. Sinister pack. Only two unique ones there, and it's like they waited til close-out prices to put them out. Random, but cool.

A shame Gambit has the WO legs. If made in MU style, I think I'd really dig him.

I hope they were serious about the clear Invisible Woman in the FF 4 pack scheduled for the summer. I have my Predator gal just waiting for her clear body.

I will never understand distribution. Our stores here are woeful, with all those AIM soldiers, Gladiator, and Scarlet Spidey's clogging the shelves. Local Comic book store still has some great finds, but all over double the store prices.

I wouldn't doubt that at all. It would be too good a deal to miss when the major chains and TRU had those BOGO or 3 For 2 deals on the Marvel Universe and other lines. Great way of getting their stock up for a low price. I noticed that they are also taking in collections from those disposing their well kept figures and offering them in a bin at the door for $3 each or 4 for $10. Found some of the older Palpatines in fine robes that I wanted that way. Right now, seems the only way I can get the bare legged Ms. Marvel's that I use for these gals, by having the comic stores (they have 2-one in Clearwater and one in Seminole) check their stock and hold them for me.

I haven't even seen the Psylocke wave anywhere, now the Beta Ray Bill wave is overdue ?!?

Makes me wonder if they are holding back becouse of the Avengers toy line and movie

Yeah, the Psylocke was no where for a long time and just recently Targets in my area got slammed with them. Two pegs worth of Apocolypse, Psylocke and Storm.

I only found Patriot when I went to meet my niece when she was born on March 3rd. First time I saw that wave. Then I saw it in State College when we went to meet my parents for a birthday lunch, two weeks later. Haven't seen it any further west in PA yet.

I, too, can't wait for the next wave, though. Beta Ray Bill is a must-have.

Mine haven't even gotten that wave yet.
I once saw a lone Thor from that wave but that was nowhere near my regular stores. So my local stores are way behind.

It does seem like they are holding back because of the Avengers movie.

I would even settle at this point on being able to pre-order that wave. Just to make sure I get Bill, I am sure I can find good uses for the other figs. Actually I only know for sure beast is in it, is that the one with Kraven as well? Plus who else?
