I just got the Marshall figure and one of the accessory sets (guns and beer!).

This isn’t sugar coating or me overblowing things, this os one of the best figures right out of the package I’ve ever had the privilege of opening. Everything just works. All the secondaries have just the right amount of give and hold where they are supposed to. The range of motion is perfect. The sculpt is tight. Really, really well done.

Yup, I have to agree: these are some seriously impressive figures. The quality is comparable to Marauder's stuff, and if anything, that's the most surprising thing about them: how similar they are to the MTF figures. The back screw is an awesome design choice: I immediately got out the screwdriver and started swapping arms and chests. I'm also thrilled by how many of the parts are molded in appropriately-colored plastic: that was, by far, the biggest bummer about the Zombie Lab figures, and I'm really happy it wasn't repeated here. The best part, though, is what pluv already said: they just feel like well-made toys. I did have one arm snap off at the elbow when I went to move it, but I've also had that happen with an Acid Rain figure and at least a few Hasbro ones, so I chalk that up to a plastic defect rather than a quality issue. I'm happy these guys turned out to be as cool as they are.

Got my cavalry figures today.

It's series like these that make me wish, sometimes, that I didn't try to collect a little of everything. It would be awesome to buy the whole series and do a diorama of a western town, with a G-scale train running through it. You could spend years scratch building the buildings and fully detailing them out.

As it stands now, I have an old Playmobil mine with a retired Union Soldier working it that these guys will soon join. Need to get a shelf cleaned off to display them.

Just a bit of WARNING, there have been several reports of joints breaking. Since your milage may very depending on so, so, so many factors here, they have cautioned EVERYONE to heat your figures' joints before moving them all about. That includes getting them out of the packaging. Hair dryer, hot water, whatever. Any stiffness, don't force it. Again, the quality of the figures have been good for most people, but nothing sucks worse than a figure breaking before you've even had a chance to play with it.

I ordered the bartender and KP trooper from SmallJoes. Arrived today. They are even better than I expected. I may have to order a couple more. And the beer barrel accessory. I need a selection of beers (or pickles) and more mugs.

The barrel is fun, but I dunno about getting multiples. I plan to get the Fire Brigadier and the RanchHand to complete my wants from Series 1 along with my Vigilante, Territories Lawman, Bartender, and now Man in Black; as well as some more gear and a Buckaroo to make the Phantom/Ghost Rider variant on the right side here:

Went looking for some Chicken Fried Toys here and found this thread camped out among the tumbleweeds.
