Someone give me a tally--in the main Batman line (not the movie one), how many distinct molds for just Bruce Wayne/Batman himself are there? Four?

There are more than 4, probably closer to 8 or 10 now.

8 to 10??? What did I miss?

I know there’s the ‘basic’, the ‘tactical’, the armored, and the version in the Moto-tank pack with Bane, but what else is there?

Just off of the top of my head:

Standard (spandex)

Standard+ (armor lines etched into spandex)

Light armor (utility belt with capsules)

Medium armor

Heavy armor (Dark Knight-ish)

Stealth armor (light armor but more angled- introduced recently)

Basic (spandex, new belt design- introduced in latest or 2nd to latest wave)

There are at least 1 or 2 more but I am blanking on them as I really don't pay uch attention to the line as it is 90% repaints.

Makes me wonder if someone's already created an online visual 'catalogue' of each. (And I don't mean Spin Master themselves.)

Google "spin master batman checklist " and a few pop up. Looks like they are arranged by year and wave.

Of all the ‘animalized’ characters in the Batman line, I wonder why Copperhead wasn’t given a single card release, compared to Man-Bat, King Shark, Bronze Tiger, and Killer Croc. (Same with Bane and Clayface if we’re talking slightly larger figures in general.)

Not bad, but it needs to be updated.

I suspect the existing Clayface mold will never be released on a single card due to its lack of articulation. Bane and Copperhead could possibly be under exclusivity agreements that prevent them from being released on a wider scale until those agreements expire - but even if so, I suspect we will see those figures released again at some point if the Batman line continues long enough.

Hopefully. In that event, might do them some good to produce a new Clayface that’s got more than just arm articulation—and maybe with a trio of accessories that fit over his hands that look like they’ve turned into various weapons, like a hammer, a mace, or a streaming burst of clay.

Acquired Red Hood and Grundy today, and aside from Grundy’s slight pinheaded-ness, they’re pretty good figures. In terms of gear:

-Red Hood has the twin katanas that we’ve seen before, some bladed tonfa thing, and a crowbar.

-Grundy has a pair of manacles with chains that hold pieces of concrete (think ‘wrist flails’) and a ‘hammer’ made of a big chunk of concrete for a head and re-bar for a handle.

Mercari, $13 each. (Better compared to other prices seen on that platform.)
