Has anyone any reports if the reissue of the Fantastic 4 set with the clear Sue Richards hit the shelves yet? I know it is sold out at all the online places it was offered for preorder. The release date said June, so just wondering. I have Yautja Predator heads, hands, feet and weapons just waiting for that gal to make a stealth version of my Predator female custom.

Oh, and who was the chap looking for the Hogan?

So these were sitting around in their warehouse/stock room for the last year? Interesting. I wonder if it was the plan all along to sell through Avengers figures, and then put out waves of Cap, Iron Man, and Thor to fill in afterward.

That would have been uncharacteristically smart/resourceful if so.

More likely I'd imagine they underproduced Avengers figures because of how poorly the Thor and Cap lines sold and then someone at one of the chains had the idea "Hey, we've got figures of these same characters in the back!" Then someone at Hasbro saw or heard about the integrated display and drafted a quick memo recommending this "strategy" to all retailers.

Actually I'd bet its the stores themselves doing this with no involvement from Hasbro directly. As you said, the Avengers figures were probably underproduced compared to the Thor, Cap and IM2 lines so stores are running out of stock. The department managers see this and with no actual Avengers product to fill shelves, take the overstock of the other lines and fill in the pegs. Or it could be the regional Hasbro reps doing this. I don't think anyone was expecting Avengers to be the super smash hit it was or the demand for product to be this great, especially after the last few lines of toys. So retailers are scrambling to fill holes on their shelves and get rid of excess overstock from the previous lines. Makes sense actually.

Until those items don't sell because everyone has already gotten them and at a lower price point up to two years ago, and a ton of stuff at clearance prices too!

Then they don't order anymore because multiple figures from different lines aren't selling and are warming the pegs.

Either way, we lose because we aren't supporting the line.

Looks like this will be replacing the Giant X-Men set at TRU...



It was found in China so it isn't stateside yet.
Just like the Giant X-Men set they also might show up at Disney stores.

I wish they'd update Apoc's armor to its more traditional look, but other than that, looks like a neat set.

Dammit! It had to be an original X-Factor set. I'm putting out there right now. I'll pay good money for this set to whomever can score it for me.

Now to start looking for parts to make an X-Factor Beast.

Wow...I can't remember if I actually posted it or not, but this was my answer for the "Marvel Wish List" thread a week or so ago. I've been wanting X-Factor uniforms for a long time, and I'm surprised and happy that I'll actually get them. It's a bummer that they couldn't throw a Hank McCoy in there, but I do like the inclusion of the Iceman's belt. I haven't bought much of the Marvel stuff, but I'll pick this up.

I'll definitely pick that up if I see it.

Weird about two villains, though. They could totally do a human Hank if they wanted.
