I'm surprised no one is talking about the SFX used in the display.

We might be able to use some of those ideas.

Looks like basically spring loaded missiles on (most likely) wire rods with painted cotton for exhaust contrails and smoke explosions. Simple enough and I'm surprised no one here has done it before (that I know of anyway).

IIRC, the baddies in Ultimates 1 were the Chitauri, who're 'sometimes known as Skrulls'. And they were gray.

That's what I was thinking. Thought it was funny in I believe one of the Ult. FF books that the Chitauri mention that "Skrull" was a slur.

I haven't been able to find that Hulk/Loki/Hawkeye/Widow 4-pack anywhere!
Did find comic-series movie Hawkeye and was very excited about that...until I opened him and realized just how limited these figures' articulation really is.

The lack of wrist and ankle swivels sucks, but at least I can fix those things.

What kills me is the total lack of any torso or waist articulation, thus making the figure impossible to pose realistically.

I honestly feel we're fast approaching the next Toypocalypse, with Hasbro and Mattel both sacrifice quality for cost savings and alienating the real customers who have been keeping their Marvel/Joe and DC lines afloat.

What we need is another Toybiz to come along and scare them sensible about the adult collector market again.

Man, why did they use the crappy Iron Man figs in both those sets. There are plenty of great versions in the movie like they could have used.

The 4 pack isn't out yet. In fact, I don't think it's even confirmed who has it as an exclusive. Also, pretty sure Spin means Ultimate Hawkeye, since the movie version is a wave or two away from release.

Yep. Ultimate Hawkeye. Found him at a Wal-Mart in Stevens Point, WI for about $6.75. That didn't appear to be a sale price, either.

Gee, they're overstocked with a weak fig only available thru an over-priced digital comics service nobody really wants. Imagine my surprise.
