law and order is the one I want, so I'll get him somewhere, I do wish he had different lower legs having combat boots but otherwise he's good

I did a dry run on signing up and for me in Maryland with the cheaper shipping, no insurance, and one installment, it comes to $29.88 each for 13 figures. If anyone was curious.

I was, thank you for doing that! 29 each is what it is, hoping the more I see, the more I'll like.

I hate that vest. I get there aren't other options to capture his original look, but this figure doesn't do anything for me. The 30th version is so perfect they used the body here and took away all of his cool accessories.

I hate the legs...there are plenty of good legs that evoke the vintage figure, I don't know why they couldn't just use those.

I seriously don't know why Hasbro couldn't do a color variant of the exact same figure. I know he requires too much gear for the Dollar Store style release, but with the limited new tooling on the 50th packs, it seems like a Law in classic colors would have been a simple addition.

Yeah, I'm not really digging on Law for some reason. I think Hasbro got the 30th Anniversary version right so this doesn't really bring much to the table. I was kind of hoping they'd give him a new head to look more like young Kirk Bozagnian (sorry if the spelling if off). It would make it far more vintage accurate and not leave me feeling like FSS 4.0 is releasing a somewhat inferior version of something I already had. As it stands, though, he just doesn't feel all that impressive to me, plus I've never really liked the Wild Bill vest, so using that to recreate his original vest just doesn't thrill me. Feels like a cost-saver to me...

I'm kind of glad there is so much apathy towards Law and Order. This is the 1 figure I feel like I have to get from this set, I was worried I was gonna have a hard time getting him hopefully it will be pretty easy.

Not so fast, all the apathy in the world only means that this figure will be super-popular. See Tiger Force convention set, et al.

I really like the figure and don't understand all the hate he has been getting. This is exactly what I expected him to be, aside from not using the 25th Dusty legs. I get that not many people like the Wild Bill vest, but it's really the only one that works.

Anyway, Inferno BAT and Nunchuk are up now.

On Facebook, the Club mentioned that they would address the badge issue with the Law figure. :-D No such luck with Barricade's various issues though.

The Club posted this about the Inferno B.A.T.

"Of course the mockup doesn't convey the clear red plastic that will be used for this figure."

So, clear red plastic? Okay you've got my attention. Maybe 2 subs is in my future after all.

I try to maintain the "if you don't have something nice to say" attitude for these, but those photoshop jobs are horrible. Nunchuk is a fine design, seems like he could have been a simple Dollar Store "wave 3" figure though. I wasn't big on the Inferno BATs the first time around, but I'm totally turned off by trying to make the design work on a v1 BAT. And of all the gear to give him, why the VvV era sword? Why not a BAT v2 style blaster attachment?

I'm actively trying to get myself to like the FSS figures because, hey, there's nothing else on the pegs and I miss "collecting" and building out my COBRA shelves. The first few waves had some hits and misses, for sure, but 4 years in and it just feels like these are all joyless obligations. No really clever uses of existing parts, they just feel like a design tieam is cranking these out and saying "Eh, good enough."

I want to believe.

:-(

Yeah, so far this is the least interesting FSS for me. I'm hoping the remaining figures win me over, but man, it's an uphill battle, especially with the next round of 50th hitting in the fall.
