Hi guys,

Send your suggestions and support to us formally:

support@panacheplace.com, and cc sales@unimax.com.hk...
this way both our U.S. office and our corporate office hear your voices.

Meanwhile, Osprey has been a great partner during the development of this program, and have given us a significant list of colorful warriors to create. If Ages of Action is sold in successfully this year, we can more seriously consider suggestions for Wave 2.

Appreciate the support and keep your emails coming!

L. Gatdula

Hi Guys,

Jeff Cope at actionfigureinsider.com has been kind enough to blog AGES OF ACTION, check out their Toy Fair pics gallery as well:

http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/gall ... 08/unimax/

Please note that some accessories are missing from our display due to damage they suffered at the Nurnburg Toy Fair the week prior :(

Thank you for your emails. I'll make sure to send on the suggestions and good vibes to my development colleagues overseas...!

Best Regards,

so far, things lok great, the suggestions people have put forth are great,.. I would like to add a few. I would love to see an African Zulu Warrior, Indian Fighting Braves, or even some Persian warriors for the Spartans to fight.

Another idea is, a year or two down the line once the 'historical warrior' idea has been decently fulfilled, would be to transition the line into a Mythology line. You could still put out Greeks and Vikings and so forth; but toss in a Cyclops or Gorgon or Frost Giant (say about Marvel Legends size) or even actual gods of these cultures, like Mercury or Quetzalcoatl, etc, etc.

Hi there,

Curious to see the comment on "mythology" figures. This was something I'd suggested during AGES OF ACTION development. There are currently 6" scale(?) figures of this ilk being sold at Target stores, from the "OLOGY" series of games/figures ("Dragonoly", "Pirateology"...).

So much goes on behind getting a product to the retail marketplace---but I'd like to think UNIMAX would do a great line of mythological heroes and monsters! This is something I'd like the opportunity to champion in the future as an extension program to AGES OF ACTION...let's see what time, good product, and good retail/consumer support can afford us over the next few retail seasons!

Best Regards,

I have a wealth of the Osprey Books(can't do historical dioramas without them). Trust me, you'll want the Dark Ages peoples. Their Viking book is rockage cubed.

Cap---

Yes, Osprey Publishing does rock the illustared military history. They are the authority and have been doing it since the 60's. With over 1500 titles, there's plenty of great refernce to draw from---and certainly more than enough 'fuel for the fire' of a new 1:18 figure program like AGES OF ACTION.

Thanks for your support and interest!

I don't wanna hijack the thread, but since the publications have been brought up...

My local Borders does stock some Osprey titles, but I am afraid the ones they do have I am not interested in. When I tried to order a few specific Osprey titles they couldn't locate them from any supplier.

I managed to snag the ones I wanted (Soviet Bloc Elite Forces, Warsaw Pact Ground Forces, and Inside the Soviet Army Today) off of eBay or at a local used book store. These three books are helping me my Oktober Guard custom ideas.

Is there a link someplace that has a list of all 1500 titles? Has Osprey considered reprinting or updating any of the top selling titles?

Hi there,

AGES OF ACTION is shooting for a fall '08 release (Aug?). We're working on retail placement for the line at present, in both mass market and specialty/hobby stores.

For more information on Osprey books, visit their corporate site: http://www.ospreypublishing.com
You'll find a pretty comprehensive listing of their published titles, along with a blog, forum, and links.

Thank You,

L. Gatdula
