Just snagged a Cobra 3pk in Nebraska, so I'm looking forward to opening that - but I'm pretty much spot-on with OB's assessment of the other figs so far.

Anyone else look at duke and see an update for Grid Iron?
(Now to search for heads, potentially CG or Pitt Commando)

Picked up some zombies for fodder and re-released Snake Eyes Version 54 cause well you know...

Everything else I left for the hard cores. Decent set this year. Wish they'd release Shadow Tracker again.

I got both 3-packs last week, the Duke pack and the Heavy Duty pack. I am very pleased with what I bought and agree with most sentiments raised here. The female officer and Shooter are nice but not perfect. Duke is serviceable but a little off... Heavy Duty is really nice. Overall pleased. As a troop builder in the past (out of room now!), these packs are great.

I really hope the line continues another year. Hasbro seems to be trying their best to please older fans with at least a few figures each assortment, whether it's rereleasing a shorted or popular figure (Lowlight, POC Snake-eyes), a concept case figure (Destro, Gung-Ho) or bringing something new to the table (Shooter, female officer). The only REAL misstep for me, so far, was not finding a way to include the MASS Device piece when they rereleased everything else from that DVD pack but the DVD. I never once saw Lifeline, Airtight, or Sci-Fi in the wild and agree than one, two or all three would be great to include next year.

Almost a month later and I just picked up the Arashakage pack for a friend's Christmas. I missed out on the Renegades Storm Shadow and am very impressed by the accessory compliment. The Snake Eyes is an all-time favorite of mine, and the whole reason I picked the pack up, as my friend would drool over the GeneralsJoes review of it. I still can't believe how far the line came in just 5 years between the 25th and 30th anniversary lines.

I really, really hope we get at least one more year out of this line before we begin any Hasbro Shared Universe stuff. There's still, what, concept case Rock N' Roll? Several figures are worthy of rerelease (LIFELINE please). Shooter opens the door for other-media joes. Retail Big Lobb? Cool-Breeze? Grunt's girlfriend? Sparks? In a perfect world, I'd like Sgt. Slaughter (Marauder's version) to fill the "leader" slot filled by Hawk in '14, and Duke the last 2 years, but I doubt they could get the rights...

A General Flagg, General Austin or Col. Courage figure would work for me
