in pics these look like motu proportions, not a bad thing, I just think they look big and clunky next to ME joes and SW. I haven't had one in hand so that's just how they look on screen. i'd love 2 of the skull guys for a silly custom, but the price is what stops me. maybe these will show up on sinodolls or similar discount ebay shops.

Those are *not* good reasons to avoid this line, 2D2C. They do indeed have an 'animated' sculpting style but it's really only a problem with the faces, imho. Pick up Carbide as I think he's the best intro to the line's strengths. He's pretty much a perfect action figure and how I wish the entire IM2 line had been done.

Target and Wal Mart the best place to find these?
Yes, and more so Walmart, at least in my area, because they have been continually restocking them in all of the stores.

I picked up the Toxic Trooper over the weekend. I think his stylized proportions actually work really, really well for a bulky space suit.

He doesn't even have 'stylized' proportions. He's just a dude in a suit.

also, I've found a couple loose of the first wave from some of those ebay sources you mentioned 2Dark. Close to $8 per rather than the $14 retail

If Carbide is one of those, he's a steal at $8. A truly *great* action figure, imho. He's a damned BossFight superhero, for all intensive porpoises.

Cutting off the scarf, bandolier, and duster leaves some pretty fugly engineering scars/plugs; but they get covered back up pretty decently if the scarf and bandolier are returned. I generally hate big plastic overlays that hang out all over the place so the dusters will go from both. I'll get a pair of MTF heads to swap in and make them genderbent Trigger Twins as their costume-cowboy outfits don't really fit with the Dime Novel Legends realism aesthete but work wonderfully for modern criminals, imho. I'm gonna try to make them mirrored with one having her scarf and bandolier spun around to the right shoulder; and will be needing matching mirrored gunbelts and pistols for them.

Picked up Skull Trooper and Havoc for $7.99 each on Sunday, along with a bunch of $6.99 Loot Crates.

Went in today after work and snagged the Toxic Trooper and Calamity for $7.99 each, along with some more Loot Crates at $6.99 each.

At Target, yes?

I had to get the Dark Bomber off Amazon as I haven't seen her anywhere else, and now I'm thinking I want a second to go with the Joker-repainted Hiya Harley Quinn I want to get, to use as her hench wenches.

Yeah, nothing new at my Target but the singles, RustLord pinata, and Crates were on sale; not the 4pack or 2pack. I nabbed a couple more Carbides for customs fodder.

Picke dup the cowgirl (Walmart) and like AV pointed out, was pretty disappointed with her out of package. Not only is everything glued/tabbed in place but the coat itself forces her head to look down. The sculpting is good, the articulation is there, I gave her a shotgun form one of the crates and that helped, but man, if they could have made that coat removable she would be 150% better.

I don't think the proportions are off any more than the two female corps figures everyone liked. The hands and feet are a little to big. But as far as the heads it's really just the eyes that look crazy. I think if you re do the eyes they'll look just fine.
