Not bad, really. I've always liked Pathfinder, and this is a decent version. Yeah, the vest is too big, but let's face it, they're all "frankensteins" to one degree or another, new parts are just going to be too pricey, so what are you going to do?

As for the jungle cutter device, it's been 25 years since Pathfinder was first released. He probably went green and it's got a built-in solar power battery by now... :)

Other options include Wild Bill, RoC Pit Hawk, and just giving him webgear. Not sure why they went with this, but it's not ideal.

You've already said you hate the Wild Bill vest, and I don't think it is a better option here. The RoC Pit Hawk vest would probably be the best option if it fits the torso, though it still is not ideal because of the extra detail. I can't think of any webgear that would make sense unless you go a completely different direction with the character.

I also don't really get the SAW. Clearly that's their attempt to make up for the lack of the hip-mounted guns, but I think they just should give him a regular rifle. Or maybe he's just supposed to be a Brawler-esque character that carries a heavy machine gun in one arm and a wireless jungle cutter in the other.

That would be awesome... and gave me an idea. If the club ever did an entire subscription with variants of Big Brawler, I would finally sign up.

Uhm... their phones are down due to the flooding.

Is the club in Dallas? Do they have a physical presence that I could visit now that I live in the DFW area?

I think Brian has a shed behind his house.

Thanks, Goldbug- that vest is a little wonky, but the hat's not as bad as it looks in the mock-up.

Agreed, I think the vest and the head fit both look much better there.

Ordering has been suspended due to software upgrades, so you'll have a bit of time to mull over if you want to subscribe this time or not.

Figure reveals have also been suspended while they wait for the local kids to finish coloring them. :shifty:

Hello all-

We are temporarily suspending the order period for the GI Joe Collectors’ Club FSS 4.0 until after BotCon, due to the implementation of the new credit card security protocols.

Unfortunately, the new protocols require that we do an update on our FSS server and software, and we need time to implement and test the new version. The timing is unfortunate, as we were unaware that the current software was not going to be compatible with the new protocols.

All of the existing orders are fine. All new orders will have an adequate order period when we turn the system back on, so no worries. We are also going to temporarily suspend the release of the figure images until we restart the order period.

Again, if you have already placed your order, it is fine, and you will not need to do anything when we restart. We also checked with the manufacturer and the extension of the order period will not affect the delivery date.

We will send out an email notice when we resume the order period. The upside is that the total order period will be longer than originally planned.

Thanks for your understanding,

Brian

I thought it seemed really ambitious for the Club to get this done while preparing for BotCon, and to no one's surprise it isn't happening. While I really was hoping to see Interrogator, I'm fine with holding onto my money longer.
