There are stagecoaches in this scale already....It's cool, but I just want the figures, man.
I get JM's point, but as MJT said - there are already stagecoaches out there. Not just Playmobil either. I have a fine Chap Mei one, that is just some detail paint away from looking near exact to the preview pic shown. Also with static horses, for what it's worth. But it came with a bunch of other stuff for less than half that price. So I'm all for a revolutionary approach. I just don't think the coach fits that goal.
also agree with pluv - don't put the cart before the horse. literally. If articulated horses are feasible, those are so SO needed in this scale, available in bulk at reasonable cost. People want them for other lines too. So much, that I'd not be shocked if a horse line might get funded in and of itself.
So much of the line reminds me of Johnny West figures... but those would not have been a thing back in the day without the accompanying horses.
Last point - also reminiscent of JW. Why not something that doesn't already have a replacement on the market? Buckboard or Covered Wagon maybe? But still - later, if at all.
More to the point, no way would I spend that much on a limited use vehicle, unless there was some unexpected hidden value in a team of articulated horses.
