I've been away for a few days, so this may question may be a little late to the party. That said...
How can MC put together the boxed set with a firm price several months ahead of the con, but cannot give us a list of items and prices for the attendee stuff that will be available for sale (and presumably in stock) at the same convention? That also begs the question of where the Mauler prices came from, given that they were not available yet at the time.
Am I missing something?

From what I understand with the Maulers is that they were being made in a factory in America, so they had better control of the situation. Please don't take that as a fact, that is just what I understand as far as the Maulers.
The box set points is a good point. On the subject of the boxed sets, they are now limited to 600 box sets with 350 bagged sets. this is down from the 750 sets in the past. i notice they still have boxed sets for sale on the web site. I'm wondering if there numbers are going down.
On one hand I can see why the numbers sre going down, the novetly of G.I. Joe coming back has worn off and I've heard several long time G.I. Joe fans comment that they were getting out of the hobby. That and some people are just so upset with the club they let their money speak for them.
On the other hand, last year they made the Cobra women and while some people didn't like the open back I thought it was a great idea and wish they would have reused that mold in blue. I would hvae thought cool thinks like that would have brought in more members. Man, they really should have made the Cobra women in blue and sold them as a bagged 5 pack. They would have made money on that deal.
