Yeah, it's okay, tho. It seems to be going around a lot these days.

but since when does the FF have short sleeves?

Since the beginning of the Hickman run about 2 years ago.

Yeah, not my fave look either. All I want is the plain and simple Byrne black and white outfits; and no the initial dark blue figs don't count since that Reed and Johnny were rotten-ass terrible.

Have there been any repacks of waves lately. Saturday I was in wal-mart and found Thanos and Apocolypse on the same peg. It looked like they had just restocked the MU figures. I snagged both right away. Didn't think I would see either one of these outside the net. It seems MU figs are a favorite target where I live. I really like both figures, but Apoc had those short cables that really restricted his arm movement. Even though it felt like Blasphamy, I snipped them from his lower arms and tied them into the shoulder cables. Now he can move his arms like a normal figure, and the wires blend in well with the shoulder wires.
I just hope they keep making quality villans. My army of Spider Mans, and Iron Mans are in desperate need of adversaries.

Yep they are re-issuing some of the figures.

Nobody ever saw that wave. It's strange that I see more of phasing Vision on EBayPhilippines than regular Vision... wait, I've never even seen regular Vision anywhere!

Sue started wearing short sleeves in 2008, Reed followed in 2009.

What I'm honked off about is the fact that Hasbro hasn't released a complete set of the FF in the matching costumes yet!

We've got:
2001 Thing in pants and boots;
variant Negative Zone colors Thing in pants and boots which as far as I know never appeared in the comics;
classic John Byrne Thing in Negative Zone colors trunks;
2002 Thing in shorts;

Adi Granov flaming Human Torch;
classic Jack Kirby Human Torch;
classic John Byrne Negative Zone colors Human Torch;
classic flaming Human Torch;

classic Jon Byrne Negative Zone colors Mr Fantastic;
2009 Dale Eaglesham short sleeved Mr Fantastic;

2009 Dale Eaglesham short sleeves Invisible Woman;

I just saw the Guardians of the Galaxy set and the Future Foundation variant/running change/whatever set.

Nothing to be really excited about but I thought I'd just give a heads up.

I think they'll complete the Future Foundation version of the team before the "traditional"/classic Fantastic Four. For some reason they're hesitant to make an Invisible Woman or 3...

Can't blame them considering how the factory production versions of Jean Grey, Dark Phoenix/Phoenix, Kitty Pryde, and Mary Jane have came out...have passed on those a lot until finally finding a decent Kitty w/ good paint apps. Seems hard for them to get right on female figures.

found Thanos yesterday at Target. Never seen one before in person, never expected I'd ever see him at retail.

Don't forget the repaint in the upcoming comic pack ;)

I should have specified the single carded version. I'm skipping that comic pack, incidentally. But the way things have been for awhile, I might never seen the new release comic sets in stores. I saw Wolvy vs S Samurai once [and passed] but I never saw DP vs TM. Yeah probably would have skipped that one too but it's weird that there's comic packs that I don't see nowadays. (Of course if they'd stop shipping the Secret Wars-specific sets finally, it might mean wider availibily for the upcoming sets.)

Outside of the $19.99 DP v TM pack at Fry's Electronics, I've only seen DP vs TM once and that was this weekend when I got to a TRU early on Saturday morning. The Silver Samurai set is nice, but I can't justify what feels like $16 for a Silver Samurai figure, no matter how much is new tooling etc. on the figure. Past those two, haven't seen any new comic packs yet.

The wave with silver samurai and the taskmaster packs are shipping wider now. At least locally only wal mart had them, and didn't restock, but now I'm seeing them at Target and TRU. Walmart has restocked as well.

Looks like they already have. As I mentioned above, I already saw the Future Foundation variant of the box set. And the single carded Future Foundation Spidey will be out in a few weeks here in Asia as well.

Yep. Saw the Captain Britain/Spidey and Power Man/Iron Fist packs at Target yesterday (and the first sign of the newest single carded wave, Namor, Ultron, etc) the day before.
