I'm not fine with them suspending the reveals. The more reveals the better chance they have of new people lining up. Unless they think the remaining figures will make people change their minds about ordering.

The reveals delay is what didn't make sense to me. Unless they are going back and reworking their photoshopped images there's really no reason to delay the reveals. All that does is kill whatever momentum they had built up, which in my opinion wasn't much. We've seen, what, 5 figures so far? That's almost halfway through. I just, I don't know. I've been holding off subscribing because I'm still on the fence of whether I want 1 or 2 subs. I'm in for sure, just waiting to see the rest of the reveals and decide if its worth getting doubles.

I'm not going to comment on the whole credit card security thing beyond saying that its entirely possible that the upgrades just aren't compatible with their existing security like Brian said. My wife is in IT dealing with credit card transactions so I know that encryptions aren't universal. That's probably what The Club is dealing with here, nothing more. Given how passionate Brian was at JoeCon about the registration delays and their provider screwing them around it doesn't surprise me that they weren't told about the incompatibility. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one...

...until my credit card gets hacked :shifty: :deadhorse:

I agree. In the end, the delay only helps everyone. I mean right after an expensive convention for everyone where the port strike had already delays for the club, getting Mindbender shipped, the last of FSS 3 shipped, Botcon exclusives approved and previewed, well, tacking on FSS4 to all of that right now just seemed to much for anyone.

I'll second that Pluv. I just started a job and was a little on the fence about FSS4.0 since I still needed to pay down my credit card that I put my con set on, but now that there's a delay I'm going to have a couple of paychecks between then and the deadline so it might be a bit less of a concern for my budget. I do wish they hadn't suspended the reveals, but at least there's enough time that I'm not necessarily going to put myself in craptons of credit card debt if I want to go after FSS4.0.

Well, delaying until SDCC wasn't exactly what I had in mind.

As for the figure, it uses lots of parts I like, but combined together it just doesn't work for me.

That ROC Destro figure is just sitting right there, waiting for a new head and paint scheme. It's RIGHT THERE! And they do this instead. Disappointment thy name is FSS4.0 Interrogator.

I guess Outback looks ok, but I would have preferred better tooling. I think that new head sculpt is wasted on the 25th OG torso.

As I've expressed elsewhere in less mild terms, Interrogator is a huge disappointment. This was probably the figure I was looking forward to most aside from Billy, and man did the Club just totally drop the ball. Seriously, I guarantee they could have found some vest that (1) more accurately reflected Interrogator v1 and (2) didn't look absolutely terrible on its own merits. I don't hate the helmet as much as some people, but I actually agree with General Hawk that the Retaliation wave 1 CC head probably would have been an improvement and a great substitute if the Club didn't want to spend money retooling the DTC Interrogator head, plus we know it fits since the torso is from the same figure. I also could have gone for the ROC Destro custom that we've seen before. As much crap as the Club gets, I know David Lane is a big Joe fan, and I just don't see how he could possibly think that design is remotely acceptable.

Because clearly the club thinks that all they had to do was a sweet new head and the tiger logo, and they could phone in the rest. This pure, lazy ass garbage poop.

And the club laughs all the way to the bank.

That head sculpt looks pretty cool, but it's such a waste on that body.

I like both figures. With how negative the response has been, you'd think these figures would be cheaper.

....okay, that tiger face does not work with the new split-style torsos. It looks like he passed out at a party and someone drew boobs on him with a Sharpie.
