figures and horses, horses and figures. Anything more than that, and it starts to seem like the KS is just wish fulfillment of the makers, more so than actually trying to put a viable toyline into the commerce stream.

MJ - I agree the PTE horses are useful - actually great proxies for Johnny West horses. If you're lucky, you might be able to score some schleich western saddles cheap at TRU. They were blowing those out over the last couple months

THIS.... but also, and I don't want to seem like I'm ragging on them, that is kind of the joy of the kickstarter economies.

I literally dreamed a few nights ago of looking into the Road War license and seeing if a Post Apocalyptic toyline could be a viable kickstarter.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm loving ALL the figures, something I couldn't say with the eagle force or even the great hacks kickstarters. and with this one I definitely want that PLAYSET. I would like to book that set now.

I will be. I've passed on the other decent ones in order to go all in one this one. I was hoping it would start in November but...

Man those are awesome figures. I'm pledging all in, but I hope multiple stretch goals get unlocked for me to stay at that level.

I didn't see anything about adding stuff on to a lower level pledge in the description like MTF and Eagle Force. Are they doing that?

I noticed that one thing missing from the 'All In' feature is a guaranteed number of figures. For instance, the Eagle Force all-in promised 25 figures, even if all the stretch goals aren't met -

Someone smarter than me might be able to suss it out in this Western KS, but it looks to me that all in at $450 gives you 15 figures (if all stretch goals unlock) which is $30/figure.

However, if I'm reading this right, $450 could also buy you *one* figure, if they only meet their minimum requirement for production.

that's ...unsettling.

I read it as 6 guaranteed figures. And that is $75 per figure if nothing else unlocks. So hopefully this thing takes off

Was about to ask if I was reading that incorrect - that's what it looks like to me too.

I'll definitely be watching this one, but I'm hesitant just because I don't have a lot of Western figures. For me, I wish they would have done some Civil War figures - that would have totally sucked me in.

That's really no different than any other campaign I've watched. If it hadn't been successful beyond minimum-funding the BossFight $500 All-In would have only gotten me 4 figures, the poster, and a t-shirt. You put up the funds to show *other pledgers* the line has your support in the hope they'll throw in as well, watch the campaign to see if it's gonna pay off for you, and make changes towards the end if it doesn't look like it will.

I agree, for the all In a minimum number of figures would help pull the trigger finger on this one, that was an easy fix for Kickstarters with Army Builders...with this line I don't know what I'd need 10 Marshalls for. I really didn't understand the logic of the Creators holding off on the Army Builders until the second wave. The one sorta Army Bulider they have is the very last stretch goal and is a really niche piece. The only thing I can think, is that they know they will sell more Calvary and Indians at retail (SmallJoes), so maybe they are holding off so they don't have to share the proffits of those items with Kickstarter. While this may turn out to be a smart business decision, it puts the Kickstarter campaign at risk.

Requiring backers to choose the risky "All In" to aquire the Badlands Vigilante has put a bad taste in my mouth. Of all the initial offerings (stretch goals included) that is one figure I wanted most.
