Also, how weird is it that they're releasing two Champions in one wave?

Probably not that weird, but It jumped out at me.

I hadn't thought of that.... are the original Champions one of the first completed teams in the MU line?

The FF beat them out, as did the first Avengers line up, though not all in the original outfits. But yeah, we don't have too many completed teams, a pain I know well from my years collecting Legends and DC Universe Classics

BBTS has the next wave of team packs listed as being Uncanny X-men, Inhumans, and West Coast Avengers.
The West Coast Avengers pack is listed as having Hawkeye, War Machine, and Mockingbird.

https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=HAS22310&mode=retail

I am assuming the X-Men and Inhuman packs are just like the ones shown at Toy Fair, but this is the first I've heard of the West Coast Avengers pack.

Is the Uncanny set the one that is supposed to have Emma Frost? If so I'll need that figure to complete my Astonishing X-Men team.

I believe the Uncanny X-Men pack is Rogue, Longshot and brown costume Wolverine with a new head.

I haven't seen or heard anything more about the Emma Frost, ColossusJuggernaut, Cyclops pack beyond the protoypes they showed of Emma and Col-juggy at Toy Fair.

Are the various Iron Man figures from the Avengers line simple repaints from the IM2 line or are they original figures?
I hate the upper leg articulation of the IM movie line so I was wondering if there was one with the "fixed" upper legs like the rest of the Avengers.

The blue stealth armor looking figure is a repaint of the IM2 Mark VI. The Mark VII is a new figure that has limited articulation and is shorter than the other IM armors. You can tell the difference between the Mark VI and Mark VII by the torso joint. The Mark VII doesn't have one.

Wait, which one now? I haven't seen any IM2 repaints in the Avengers line... There's been a retool of Fortress Assault Captain America as the single-carded Ultimates Cap and a repaint of Movie Cap for the Deluxe parachuting one... Got a link to this blue stealth Iron Man?

Also, what's the word on Iron Man 3 merchandising? I saw a crummy 12" "Titan Hero Series" Iron Man figure in Iron Man 3 packaging at Wal-Mart earlier this week... and ebay is peppered full of supposed Iron Man 3 Iron Man variants that all seem to sport little more than five points of articulation... is this the extent of merchandise we can expect?

That's the IM2 Mark VI figure. They also used that same figure in the deluxe pack with the Cap glider repaint.

It looks like it could be, but very sadly, it isn't. I pondered the Divebomb Mission toy thinking it was an IM2 repack not unlike the parachuting Cap... but it turned out to be an Avengers mold, reduced articulation and all.
