Unfortunate news about rights issues hindering US distribution, but Hiya's Predator2 Yautja are apparently in the wild overseas and some in-hand reviews of 2 of the Predators are up:

And check your BBTS pre-orders, the first 3 Preds are in stock!

by Chief

Yeah - got my shipment notification for those three. Only ordered them in May - never actually expected to get them.

These guys have been getting real lonley...

NICE!
How do they feel, quality wise?

Mine are currently on a slow boat from Minnesota (FedEx).

by Chief

Not bad - seem sturdy enough. I've had the Aliens for over a year with no breaks, the Preds seem of similar quality. Paint & sculpt are great. Accessories are a little "meh", but I've only got these two so far (others on their way) - maybe others will come with different stuff, like a cannon or glave.

If they were a tad bigger, they'd be perfect. As-is, they're close enough for me. Went ahead and pre-ordered a half-dozen others.

Mine are on the way along with HACKS S2W2, the accessory kits case, a Blank, and a couple Beast Box mechacritters!

Got my Preds today!
They look fantastic, but there are a few minor issues. Had some frozen joints. Shoulder elevation, bicep swivel, thigh swivels, and feet. One loose knee.
I wish the discs fit in the thigh holders better, can't get them to stay. But I love that the blades on the right wrist are extendable and retractable.
Also while I wish the shoulder cannon was a bit larger, and sat out of the dreadlocks better, it's great how it slides up and down from stand by position to active position, and swivels.
I also find it interesting that it appears all of the Pred's chest armor and waist clothing are separate pieces. Presumably so all Preds can use the same body while still having their unique outfits. A nice little surprise.

Overall I'm quite pleased with them and looking forward to the other 7 versions.

EDIT:
I'm still pleased with these, but I just opened a second City Hunter, and he was a mess.
Aside from the frozen left shoulder and ankle issues, his right knee was not fully assembled, his knee plate was falling off, and his wrist blades were assembled upside down.
These were all things I could fix, but I can see others (especially non-customizers) not knowing how to fix these problems, and (rightfully) not being very pleased with the quality.

Something else I just noticed, as I was taking a Pred out of the package, there is a full color, double sided, fold out, mini poster in the box that has all 10 of their Predators pictured on it.

I had to go fish a few boxes out of the recycle bin after I found it....

GREAT news about the APC!
Can't wait.

Has there been any word about those remote sentry guns they showed previously?
I really don't want or need the upcoming Marines, but have them pre-ordered in case they come with parts to make the sentry guns.
Aside from seeing them in a display, I haven't actually heard anything 'official' about them.
I REALLY want them.

by AdrienVeidt

The only remote guns I recall seeing were coming from NECA a couple years back.

APC apparently will be shipping in a few weeks,

Yeah, that's very surprising considering the last official word I recall was there weren't enough pre-orders to warrant production. I'd really like to get one but I'd really rather have a good squad of ColMars to need places to sit first. Hopefully they make enough for them to sit on the aftermarket awhile before escalating in price.
