I was just about to post images of the 2 I came across this evening (Venom and Peter).

They were appealing...until I saw the price ($11).

Still...if they come out with a Rhino I may buy Venom and the Rhino at the very least.

wait did you say Peter as in a Peter Parker figure?

yes the new regular price for 4 inch figures is terrible
not as terrible as the Star Wars ones $17
Hasbro is out of control with their pricing

No not Peter Parker in civilian clothes or anything like that. Just "Classic Spiderman" as opposed Red and Black Miles Morales or Iron Spiderman.

It was nice to see these small figures. They moved the needle from "zero interest in anything Hasbro makes" to " you've got my attention".

Not quite the Marvel Universe days, but I'll take them over the Retro figures any day of the week.

I do find a small charm with the Retros—all we need now is a carrying case.

This.

And I've always had an odd appreciation for action figures that can pull off the hinge swivel hips on what's basically a T-crotch. It doesnt look better necessarily but it's a nod to the classic 5 POA figure design but made better. In fact it is the Retro figure made slightly better

Emotionally that hip design resonates with me (thinks about old Secret Wars and Super Powers figures).

UPDATE: a Spiderman web shooting (or web blasting) motorcycle is included in this Epic Heroes line.

According to a Hasbro employee on Instagram this line will extend beyond Spiderverse specific characters and include MCU characters and more.

...... this line has my attention.

A new 4" playline is always a nice sight. Not to sound too grumpy, but the price point is still a bit high.
I'll keep a look out for these.

^100%

I won't be buying any above $10 but i'll grab a few as soon as they drop below that price.

I'm in no rush and i'd be a hypocrite to myself if i jumped on these above that price point "because Marvel". Marvel doesn't hold that level of cache with me.

Shout out to Final Faction heh
