All six game pieces will be Snake Eyes.

I'm sort of interested in this. I love Monopoly. You learn who your true friends are when you play Monopoly and Risk.

I so can't wait for this one. I'm such a game geek. This'll be my third version of Monopoly (including classic and Transformers). Now all I need is GI Joe Risk, Stratego, chess........shall I go on?

I do wonder if there're going to be any special rules. There's a special doubles rule in TF Monopoly, but that's it.

GI JOe Axis and Allies would be years of gamming fun for peice play alone. I remember having to get a library card just to check out the rule book for A&A!

hahaha! Awesome...tho I have to admit I don't own the game and never played it. However, I do know people who've holed themselves up for days playing just a single game. ;)

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude,
I spent a good chunk of the 90s playing that game. We build a custom 4x8 game board on a sheet of white drywall and by hand redrew the entire 1942 world map, and added Canada, Italy and Australia to the game. We also added cities as goals and bout about 5 extra games just for the parts.

Our games would literally last weeks. We played into garage and left it set up until the game was done.

Good times!

The second statement causes the first one to clearly be a complete distortion of the facts.

You can't call yourself a game geek if you don't own Axis & Allies.

In fact, you really can't call yourself a game geek if you don't own at least five or six games that use cardboard squares with lots of little numbers on them.

LOL!

Even tho I've got 3 versions of Risk? And several games that are older than I am? I even have a Risk-like Civil War game called Battle Cry from 1961...all those little foot soldiers, horses and canons have to count for something!

Oh oh! I know! Someone mentioned customizing an A and A game board...I customized my Transformers Risk game! And my chess set is a WIP. Does that count? Or the fact that I have more GI Joe games in my personal collection than I do figures... LOL

Boy, you're tough, Tim! :rotfl:

Ah. Battle Cry. That helps your geek cred.

Monopoly, in any format, does not count. It's not geek, no matter what you slap on it. Risk barely qualifies. :)

I should post a pic of my game cabinets sometime...
