Went with the Iron Grenadier. Great trooper design. I liked the Convention version, though. Iron Grenadier deluxe! 8-O

My fave is the 25th IG version Destro.
Simply one of the greatest designs ever. It was structured for maximum destro, and given the design requirements (i.e. cape, sword, etc) it saddled us with minimum immobility. He has good rotation and is sculpted terrific.

I loved my ARAH IG destro but this one just pawns.

since Casual Wear/Pimp Daddy Destro isn't on the list, I went with Darklon. A surprisingly cool figure design, including the Mask, grenades around the leg, big arms, and cool gun.

Iron Grenadier!
One of the coolest army builders! The outfit looks both ceremonial and battlefield, colours are well balanced and the uzi and sword give him extra credit. His head has this Star Wars / Imperial look, but it really works for the figure.

Destro. There would be no IG without Destro. This version of the character just blows all his others out of the water. Regal, militaristic, futuristic, and cool. Gold head all the way.

An interesting call... Destro is the only reason why the group exists and his figure is a classic update to the character. But, the figure is also just black. Without painted highlights, it speaks more to unrealized potential than true greatness.

The Iron Grenadier is the perfect army builder for Destro. He is easily the equivalent of the basic Cobra Trooper in relation to Cobra Commander. His only drawback is a red pistol and fragile gold paint.

In the end, though, the strength of Destro's character puts him as the winner. While the figure could be better, there is no reason for any of the figures without him.
