I got these figures on Friday and i just took pics today, i only shot a pic of one of them, they are big, bad and cool looking, enjoy. :-D

Looks cool. These guys were bad ass bad guys, but I quit reading Star Wars about half way through the Vong saga, they were around waaaay too long and they got boring.

BTW, upon reading Vector Prime ( I think that was the first book) through the Vong saga, was anyone else reminded of Cobra La? Basically the whole organic technology idea?

Did you only get the Vong? I really want to know if the Kyle Katarn he comes with is any good. I've been waiting for a long time for a decent Katarn. I hope they get a decent Dash Rendar sometime soon as well.

Sorry to be the lone voice of dissent here, but I am not overly impressed with the Vong figure apart from the sheer size of it. It reminds me of a Chap Mei figure from a box set but with better articulation. I was expecting a far more organic-looking armour. This looks more like beaten copper. Just doesn't stand out to me. Don't know what it looks like in hand, but maybe if they had used some kind of iridescent paint on the armour, it might have looked better.

Yeah, these are out in California. I picked up the Kyle Katarn/Vong and Luke/whoever packs last week. The Kyle Katarn figure is pretty cool, but his ankles aren't articulated and he's got kind of a wide stance (reminiscent of Larry Craig, really). His pistol is great, though. I don't have much use for the Vong anyway, but he looks a little cartoony for my tastes.
