Maybe this has been reported in here already, but I couldn't find a thread for it offhand. Hopefully I'm not repeating. Apologies if so.

Meanwhile -- check this out!

I honestly NEVER thought we'd see traditional-style G.I.Joe figures at retail again. Okay, I wince a bit at the "Past" designation they're given, but that's marketing for you.

Don't offhand know what other sets are being offered, but I'll gladly get this one. I could use a new Snow Job anyway.

Wish I thought we'd see new traditional-style molds and characters out of this, but that's probably WAY too much to hope for given the theme under which these are being marketed, as well as being Target exclusives.

I was actually going to pick up the movie Rockslide. Now, I think I'll wait. :-D

This could be cool... :-)

Personally, I'm just peeved that's a Target exclusive.

It means unless Zellers picks it up (very, very unlikely), I won't see it locally.
And I'm getting a bit sick of always having to resort to getting stuff online. Shipping keeps getting more expensive.

I don't blame you for that. My main gripe about ordering toys online is (nitpicky person about assembly and paintwork that I am) I don't get to see the item before I receive it. I can't do a visual check of its overall condition.

Books, CD's, DVD's -- these I don't mind ordering online. Toys -- not if I can help it.

Maybe some kind soul here on JC can assist when the time comes (and anybody know when these are due out?)

Jay, you can't see the Rockslide's missiles either, even though it shows them on the back of the package, so maybe there's hope yet.
