With many not getting the DVD set #5 with Alpine, what do you think the chances of Hasbro re-issuing another Alpine in Comic Book, Single Pack, vehicle or multi-pack form?

They already released one. Weren't you able to pick it up? Hasbro says all of the stores have a super secret stash of them in the back.

Really though, I hope they do. I wanted Alpine a lot, as well as the entire set, but if I can't get that cheap, I'd pay seven bucks for a nice repaint of that mold.

I figure a movie version with all darker coloring on his outfit. Maybe a few changes to his outfit as well.

Throw the vest on and you've got something.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Alpine in his entirety again somewhere down the line. I would expect some different colors though rather than a straight reissue.

Sometimes I am just very confused on what gets re-issued.

Scrap Iron now has three versions, WIld Bill I am not even sure. two Deep-Sixs, and we will have two copperheads soon.

But only the 1 shortpack of Wraith, and only the one Quick kick, Dusty and of course, the subject, Alpine

Scrap Iron now has three versions

Arctic 7-pack, Comic Pack, ROC 'Ferret' repaint, and we're supposedly getting a new frankenstein with Shipwreck's torso in classic colors

Deep Six got released twice, in a comic pack *and* with the Sharc, and also in the Command 3-pack (1989 version). Now we have a ROC version in Wetsuit's body. That's 4!

Copperhead had a comic-pack release, and Python Patrol repaint with the Mocassion. The Wal-Mart ROC repaint will be #3.

Point well made.

Yes, that was 1 wraith too many. Good call on that point.

And let's not forget they decided to invent figures instead of giving us UK action force figures like Red Laser, Jackal, etc.

Fingers crossed we will see these figures again one day. I don't have Quick Kick or Dusty but Alpine is a really nice figure that I wouldn't mind having in a few more colors. Heck I'd even take Quick Kick in movie colors if it meant another shot at the figure.

Really kind of shocked we haven't at least seen the Wraith head reused. I popped the head on an Accelerator Suit Ripcord the other day and it looked really cool like some sort of stealth armor.

Perhaps something like this could come in our Q&A next time to give Hasbro some ideas of what figures and parts we'd like to see reused since Hasbro likes to save a little money on molds.

I have a strong feeling that we will see Alpine reissued in somewhat darker colors in the movie line as Hasbro knows most fans missed out on this figure the first time around. Same with Quick-Kick, after all, he made a "guest appearance" in the SDCC dio as one of the only non-movie figures (Stalker being the other if I recall) in there...

I'd love to see more European and South American repaints. Heck, that would be easier than frankensteining new characters.

I kind of wouldn't mind seeing Hasbro come out with a repaint of Helix. Maybe mix & match with baroness or another female figure's parts (LJ's parts haven't been re-used yet, and there's still that resolute scarlett out there) if possible for a twin/evil twin sister figure.

Codename: Double Helix.

It's so cheezy that it's awesome. Really, Hasbro needs me on the payroll for ideas like this.

I'd be happy if they just fixed her hair to look like the card art. She is blonde with black streaks (or vice versa) not grey.
