I recently got into the show NCIS and while watching a dvr'd episode("Identity Crisis"), they were interviewing a woman about a guy in a picture and she said "yes i know him his name is Marvin Hinton, I'm Special agent Courtney Kreiger" then its said he once went by the Name Fredrick LeClair.

this from tv.com:
Quote:
The age of the deliveryman, Robert Graves(grunt), is given as 25. 2007, the year this episode originally aired was the 25th Anniversary year of the G.I. Joe vs Cobra toyline that some guest characters took their names from.
Other names mentioned in the episode are also references to the G.I. Joe toyline:

Frederick LeClaire (Daniel LeClaire) - Recondo

George Barney (James Barney) - Grand Slam

Blaine Parker - Mainframe

Pretty cool if you ask me.

I agree with this. I also got a mild Abby vibe from Helix. Still, this is cool, I may have to check out this show.

This is (as far as I know) the only episode with Joe references. I just got into this show myself, but I gotta say it's my new favorite show, and they run marathons on tbs all the time(although it is annoying that they run them in no particular order). The Joe thing was just a cool add on to a good show.

It's a great show kinda cheesy at times. They are going the way of Law and Order and Csi with a west show also with LL Cool J, It might make for a more interesting show if they used Plies or Dave Chappel
