This one's a toughie, because there was a fair amount of weirdness on the year, but ultimately I have to go with Storm Shadow for using that blasted, non-disassemble-able Ninja Force body.

Second place, very reluctantly, to the Undertow, who, although having an excellent color scheme, got STUNK UP with black "weathering" paint. If they'd left well enough alone, it would've been one of my favorites.

Third place to the Range/Rock-Viper, just because of the confusion factor (although the color scheme was an improvement over the original Range-Viper).

This is one of the very few polls in which I can't find one to dislike. Although there were some naming issues with Chameleon/Baroness and Rock Viper/Range Viper, all of the 2000 figures were at least equal to the original versions or improvements on them.

Major Bludd. I hate the mold and the pale skin

Storm Shadow would've won it were it not for the Lamprey and its weird blue forearms and shins while the rest of the bodysuit is silver.

There were some interesting designs given to Cobra in 2000. I went with Storm Shadow because of that Ninja Force body. I also used a number of these for different roles.

Chameleon: Used either as an undercover JOE that looked like the Baroness or as the Baroness created 2nd identity
Cobra Commander: Used as CC
Firefly: The only figure I use for him is his 1st one. The CP version I use as 'Demo-Vipers' which are Cobra troops hand-picked by Firefly to be is support squad. All other versions are new characters
Storm Shadow: Uggggggg!
Undertow : Given new codename since Undertows are Iron Grenadier troops!
Lampreys: Used as Moray 'enlisted' crewman with new codename. Original Lampreys are Officers...
Rip It: Used as HISS Gunners w/new codename. Rip It from 2007 is the only one 'Rip It'
Major Bludd: Gave him new heads (Sonic Vipers?) for new troops. Not used as Major Bludd.
Rock Viper: Used as Skullbuster's personal troops with new codename.
