One of my unofficial New Years resolutions is to read through the Marvel run of GI Joe, so this is a great way for me to see what you guys think as I go along. I'm just finished Episode 000 on the way into work this morning, it's perfect for my commutes!

An excellent New Years resolution!

Hope you enjoy the podcast. It's interesting to hear how it has evolved (and in many ways stayed the same) from Episode 001 to the present.

I was thinking that yesterday listening to episode 32. You guys are a lot more comfortable on the mic, you segue from one man to the next smoothly, and your personal insight into each issue has become a lot clearer and more fun. And I repeat, love the shorter and more frequent episodes.

I was going to email this in, but I'm still only on episode 8 so it'll be a while before I get caught up. Anyways, I've been reading along with you guys via some torrents I had on my old computer (they must be from around 2005), but I've been enjoying the comic so much I'd love to pick up the trades. What's the best way to go about doing this? I heard that IDW is doing reprints of the original run?

Marvel did 5 trades (I think) about 8 years ago. IDW has reprinted those and will be continuing them past what Marvel printed.

Here they are on Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Classic-G-I-Joe-L ... 765&sr=8-2

http://www.amazon.com/Classic-G-I-Joe-G ... 765&sr=8-3
http://www.amazon.com/Classic-G-I-Joe-G ... 765&sr=8-5

Some look to be IDW prints, some seem to be Marvel. Should get you started though.

Perfect! I'll have to give my local comic book shop a call, see if I can get those ordered. Thanks Matthew!
