I just saw these tonight as well, great accessories but no real interest in the figures (although the Spidey w/Doc Ock tentacles is VERY tempting... ). |

I suppose I should be grateful that this first wave holds zero interest for me. My wallet can use the break. But I sure do hope Rhino sports some decent articulation whenever he lumbers out. |

Venom articulation - Neck, Shoulder, Elbow and Thigh. No Knee. Shoulder and Thigh joints are the Marvel Legends style where it's a ball but also rotates up/down. I'm sure we'll see a re-release of Venom sooner than later with Knee/Ankle/Wrist articulation so that we can buy him twice. I can't find my SHS version to compare. But from memory of how that Showdown one was, I prefer this one. None of the figures so far had Ab/Chest articulation from what I had noticed. These are just like the 12th scale Spider-Man line from the perspective of getting half purely kiddy oriented figures in a case, and half adult with kiddy accessories. So far I'm liking them quiet a bit. |

Thanks for the info. I'm going to pick him up when I see him. Then SHS version was sweet too, I thought. |

Actually, I posted about seeing these in the Ironman thread since that was where the previous discussion about them was. |

I'll get Scuba Spidey for my son (4.5-years-old), and Venom for myself. |

Thanks for the intel, might have to keep an eye out for them, but nothing beats the SHS Venom, he's the bestist sculpt to date. |

I found these the other day, and yay! Variants! I found a Venom with a tongue. I was confused, at first, because I thought the figure came without a tongue. Then a quick online search when I got home, and yep, there are two versions. My son got the Black Costume Spidey, and I must say, aside from the lack of ankle and wrist articulation, I honestly think it one of the best Black Costume Spidey figures ever made. I for sure like his build and overall size far better than the MU Black Costume Spidey. The MU one is just far too big, to me. |

That line has very inconsistent articulation (must've taken a cue from the Wolverine Origins toyline), but it amuses me that their Super-Poseable Spider-Man is less poseable than the Marvel Universe Spider-Man. I would've gotten that Venom if they'd bothered giving him knee articulation... Has anyone bought the pullback motor vehicles from the line? I'm curious how Joes would look riding them. |

On another Marvel note, Toys R Us has put out the Ironman 2 figures. |

The new Green Goblin looks better than the first one, but I've seen him in person...less articulation. |
