So I went by the toy aisle yesterday just to see what it looked like after the Christmas explosion. Saw that they were starting to redo their stock. I looked the Joe section over once and something caught my eye.
Then I thought: REALLY??!

There's no telling what's inside that box either. Could be a big rock.

Whip them! Whip the Piss out of them! - Robot Chicken

This is just wrong on so many levels.

It boils down to theft pure and simple, and is petty, pointless and dishonest.

At least with adult collecters we can usually tell the diffrence and avoid getting ripped off. I really feel bad for the kids though. The avaerage mom wouldn't know the diffrence and the poor kid almost allways ends up with junk left over parts from some jerk that doesn't want to pay.

I saw an TRU exclusive Snow Serpent the other day at Target, with the "exclusive" sticker scratched off. Kind of puzzling, but no where near as bad as this.

Ash... you must have been at the WM near your place. I have shown that one to a manager (before Christmas) and they pulled it. I had to show them what the figure should look like.

One of these days, some grandparent will buy for a child's gift and get this and not know about the figure.

Yep, that WM. I have to do some serious "REALLY? Put it back out is your answer?" to the manager. Maybe he'll sell it to me cheap. heheh

Was this at the WM nearest to you, Ashy?

Hm. Well, that one jackass up in Rivergate is still doing his thing, though not as frequently. Saw his handiwork was still popping up last year, but haven't seen it again in several months. I swear, I wish I could camp out at Target's service desk so I could catch that mfer.

I saw a multipack of swapped figs at that Rivergate WM within the last month. I swear I've seen his handiwork somewhere else recently, too, maybe Target.
