Is/Was this the 'MASS Device' storyline?

The MASS device was the first mini-series, the first cartoon.
The Movie was the Cobra-La story line

The movie also had the BET (Broadcast Energy Transmitter), which if I remember correctly is what Serpentor wanted to hatch the spores. It's been a while since I've seen it though.

I got to thinking the other day why they released ARAH, RoC, POD and ASA and a "best of" on DVD with a selection of figures and the MASS device, why didn't thay release The Movie the same way with, oh I dunno, Pythona, maybe Big Lob, or Jinx and a BET

I think the lower portion of the MASS Device could easily be double as a lower portion of a BET.

If I recall correctly, the fifth segment of the MASS Device set was intended to be the Movie, but there was a rights issue and they could not include the movie DVD.

And it has. Someone at the site that can't be named made a custom with it...I think it was there.

That whole scene is funny when he smacks her kiester. The reaction on her face and when she bumps her head on the Havoc's engine cover.

What was the rights issue? I mean, the DVD was in print within the last 10 years...

It was still tied up with Paramount and RoC, that is also why it was not included in the newest Shout Factory box set. It was/is a weired issue from what I had heard, but it is something that should be cleared up very soon.
