Funny article

I am going a little off topic, but slightly on topic. I'm paraphrasing this from Joe fans last fall
Quote:
Rise of Cobra sucks! It's nothing like the GI Joe I remember

I'm kinda glad that ROC was nothing like the GI Joe I remember. The cartoon, although it has nostalgia and I loved it growing up, has very little appeal anymore. I have a hard time thinking kids these days would waist their time on a cartoon like this like I did back 1985.

Several years ago I bought a couple CDs, one being the two songs that Fig'rin D'an and the Model Nodes (or how ever it's spelled) played in the cantina and the other disk had "Jedi Rocks," the song Sy Snoodles and the Max Rebo band played in the SE vesrion of ROTJ. Both came with a T-shirt like you'd get at any concert.

That would be an awesome G.I.*JOE club offering. A CD with Cold Slither and a concert T-shirt. Maybe even include figures of the 'Noks in their Cold slither attire.

Too bad they're copyrighted characters, I'm sure J_man could come up with a sweet looking concert shirt. Heck, there's a Springfield in 37 different states, they could play them all!

That is one awesome idea. I can see it on the back of the shirt now.
