Glad I never bought the re release. Now I'll have this set to put in my big locker.

The opening sequence is probably the best bit of animation the whole series ever had and the theme song is awesome, it'll be cool to see it and hear it in hi-def. |

I was super happy to find out the Cobra sound emblems that came in the 25th 5 packs have part of the theme song. |

Sure, Hasbro, schedule the release of the DVD before I can post this in the "Ask Hasbro" thread...  Great news, considering around the 22nd of April is the next Season of the cartoon being released on DVD. I still love the opening sequence and have it (audio) on my mp3 player. |

Some more info about the new release: http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/GI-Joe-The-Movie/13645 It appears that the BD will come in widescreen while the dvd is in fullscreen. |
