I'm curious, does anyone have a list handy of all the Star Wars figures that would have articulation closer to 25th Anniversary/ROC Joe figures (ie mid-torso joint and ball-jointed legs)? Along with what toy line and class (ie vehicle pack-in, multi-pack, etc) they belong to?
I've found some of the designs looked cool enough to be used for Joe customs but it's hard to tell which ones have the poseability range to work as such.

So far as I know there,s a whopping ... 3 ... figs in the entire 30 year hisi-tory of Star Wars figs that have ball hips that would be compatible with Joes (not including droids and such). There were RotS figs of Obi-Wan and Anakin and a Clone body that's had a couple of paintjobs, I think.

Those figs had hips engineered like shoulder joints, tho, so trying to find SW figs that are parts-swappable with Joes in every body part is pretty much a lost cause.

Such a waste too, the articulation varies soo much that it`s almost not worth looking at them.

The new Legacy collection Jacen Solo has a cool mid torso articulation.
Legacy Han Solo does too, he's the one with wind in his hair and the scarf...

Humm, both Solos... must be a family thing

Jacen uses the body originally used for Bespin Luke...

Oh, I don't necessarily need them to be parts-swappable.
Just featuring a similar articulation as Joes.

I've managed to count two myself... The Thirtieth Anniversary Collection ROTS Obi-Wan (and his recent Saga Legends repack) and the new Clone Wars ARF Trooper that comes with an AT-RT. (The TAC Anakin Vader has the ball-jointed hips, but lacks decent elbow articulation)

I've haven't used many SW bodies for Joe Customizing (just Padme bods for the Baroness), but I've used ALOT of heads...

The only figure not mentioned in this thread that has hip artic, is the new Resurgence of the Jedi Battle Pack Luke. You can find tons of SW with the mid-torso joint and 25th style arms, but the legs simply aren't the same style. They're all bashable, but it takes work. I have a ton of SW parts I want to use for customs, but I know it's going to take more than just some boil and pop to use them.

The last Obi Wan in clone armor has the hip joints also, but nothing in the torso. The single pack ARF trooper has the hip joints, torso, and additional wrist artic. All SW singles are only $4.50 at Wal-Mart now, so it may be worth checking out if you're looking for fodder. The ARF would be a good base for an armored female Joe or Cobra due to the small/skinny size of the figures in the Clone Wars line.

You're also forgetting Commanders Gree and Cody plus the VOTC Tatooine Luke Skywalker. The upcoming Bespin Luke should also have ball jointed hips and so should the upcoming Animated Mandalorians.

Hah, man... just looked him up on Rebelscum... not only does he have the good hips, he even has the added wrist articulation Hasbro is going to standardize for Joes during the POC line!

Well, any good list has to start somewhere... so here's what I have thus far:

The Clone Wars:
ARF Trooper
ARF Trooper with AT-RT (no Rebelscum link yet)

The Legacy Collection:
"Resurgence of the Jedi" Luke Skywalker
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Jedi Master)
Commander Cody
Sandtrooper and Dewback
Gelagrub Patrol Clone Trooper
Medical Frigate Luke Skywalker

Thirtieth Anniversary Collection:
Obi-Wan Kenobi (plus "Saga Legends repack)
Commander Gree (plus The Legacy Collection repack)

Vintage Original Trilogy Collection:
Luke Skywalker

Am I missing any?

Unless I missed it being mentioned, there's also the Sandtrooper with the Dewback (Wal-Mart) that has hip articulation.
