I really enjoy your reviews zed. I don't have any attachment to Tron, in fact I don't think I've even seen it, but I have to admit the light up feature is kind of cool, I'm a sucker for shiny things I guess. lol. The Heat-Viper-esque one is pretty cool looking, but the lacking in articulation will probably keep me from getting them. |

You should watch Tron, I grant you the effects are dated but it's a very cool movie, I hope the second is just as cool or cooler. |

]I think I might pick up a few of them. I'm thinking of picking up an extra Rinzler to make him . |

After seeing the movie I was thinking something similar, but not an easy task as the lights are pretty well stuck in that color. Really should do a wave 2 with that varaition of him though. Also the girl as well as she should have been in wave 1. |

Quorra looks like the only one worth getting if that is it. Caster was kind of a lame character (but served a purpose), Jarvis, I was actually glad when that suck up ate it (don't feel that is too big a spoiler as he is only around in a few sceanes). |

I am pleased that Quorra and Jarvis have been added to the line. I doubt it will continue much beyond that, but I've been impressed with the toys and EXTREMELY impressed with the movie. I was most upset, however, when I tried to move the head to my CLU, and it snapped right off. I think the painted head just adhered to the body. I have since been shopping around for a replacement (when I can afford one). It is possible to reach into the package and move the head. Out of about ten figures I've "tested", only two moves. Now THAT'S a quality control issue. Still, I most heartily recommend the movie, and the figures are impressively done too -- one glitch aside. |

Ironically the CLU cycle version has a removable head that can look up, but needs the neck post to be placed on regular body.

I immediately took it back and got a refund for it, explaining that the item was defective. I wasn't able to pick up another one for a couple of weeks, since everyone seems to be buying up all the Tron figures around here, but when I finally did, I managed to get the head moving by getting one of my fingers underneath the chin and forcing it back, since the plastic around the neck is thicker going backwards than it is on the sides.

I was really careful with mine when I got them, I think there might be something in the way these are mounted that is causeing this, but if you are careful they can be moved without breaking. Once they are moved once I think they are fine. |
