Aka Cable! I don't collect MU, but I loved Cable in the comics and the cartoon. I also saw the rest of the wave, almost grabbed apocy, but chose to stay the course. Quato cable rules! Plus I like how he can fit into any other line really well. Found at target today, so keep your eyes open. |

I saw the whole wave, well except for Cable and Apoc. The scalpers around here get me sooo annoyed. I can identify at least 4 different ones, as I see them either when I am out looking or when I am at work. Both the Cable and Apoc are ones I may be interested in, I would have to see them in person though. |

Can't speak for where people are finding that wave, but I found a lone wolvie/silver samurai pack at a tru near Minneapolis today. No Taskmaster/Deadpool sadly. Silver Samurai is a really nice figure. Almost all unique tooling and well painted. He does have the funky kinda melted/puffy face that a lot of MU figures have, but I'm really impressed with him. The Wolverine is pretty nice as well, but he's yet another Wolverine, and in his least interesting outfit, so that negates any plusses from quality. Nice blank body for short characers though. Take some length off the legs a d change the head and you have a solid start for Puck. |

The wave is showing up in Colorado, too - didn't really find anyone worth getting, but I did see a Gladiator (the one figure I have no interest in, other than as custom fodder) at a Target in Colorado Springs. No new comic packs seen yet. |

You know, I love Cable's sculpt and detailing but I just noticed while posing him with my other X-Men last night that his scale is totally wonky. He's a full head taller than Cyclops and a skooch talker than Colossus, which just makes no sense to me. I may have to try and find a shorter base body (or perhaps just a torso - that seems to be where most of his excess length is) and fix him. |

Cable has an interchangeable chest piece so you can have him with Hope or without. Means I don't have to find a second one. |
