MU Gigantic Battles: Frost Giant w/ Loki In Hand pics.

Hey All,

I was at my local Wal-Mart today 4/12/2011 and found both sets of the New Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles, the sets are Goliath w/ Thor & Frost Giant w/ Loki.

Here's some pics, enjoy. :-D

I was only able to afford one of these great sets and i liked the FG set more so i got it, the Thor in the other set has a Terminator styled face, half cyborg and the other humanish with a red eye, definitely worth it also, so if you was wanting these New sets, happy hunting at your local Wal-Marts. I have heard that others are finding them to, but like me they only saw one of each set and yes, these are a Wal-Mart Exclusive only.

$24.96 and with tax here in Pa. it came to $26.46

Also, I need a couple Frost Giants to go with movie Thor.

The Thor figure sounds like Clor from the Civil War storyline.

Just saw these at my local Wal-Mart. I am going to get that Loki set. It looks great and all the paint apps. look great on all 4 boxes I saw, which is a change!

It's the Schleigh Oracle Diorama Enviroment/Playset, i got it on clearance at my local TRU a couple months ago for $14.98

Huh, Hasbro actually managed to mate the "Freakishly Tall and Lanky" MU body with a character who actually fits that physical profile.

YESS!!!! Thanks for this heads-up JBYRDD.

I was hoping not to turn my McFarlane Zeus into a Frost Giant to go with my Frost Giants Daughter, and those actually look very much like the ones in the comic panel during the Frazetta Cover run. They are pricey, and Loki would be going into the trade pool for sure, but wow, I will see if our WalMart will carry any of that, since like those in the other thread, my WalMarts here are woefully devoid of a good action figure aisle..

Now THAT's a Frost Giant!

Loki set does look good, better to have a Loki like this rather than the lame attempt in the thor line

Picked up both tonight, they had two of each. They're both excellent, though the Frost Giant seems kinda cartoony next to the movie version.

If they made a 12 inch " Movie " Frost Giant, IMHO, i don't think it would be as cool as the Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles Savage Frost Giant :-/
