I want to make a roster of every Agent who was ever on the Joe team My question is how would you organize the roster? What specialties?, By Branch of origin? I am having trouble separating characters who are paratroopers (Sky patrol, Ripcord etc) and guys who are airborne qualified. Also kind of confusing myself when it comes to weapons specialists Steve |

That's a tough one. So many guys may have a specialty under their codename, but then their PMOS and SMOS don't reflect it. I suggest checking out these list http://www.halfbattle.com/stats.html I separated my guys into fireteams (2 platoons, 8 fireteams each). The rest were Leadership, Computer/technology, Infantry Specialist (who I use for specific missions. They take the place of the fireteam rifleman if needed), Transportation, Air, and Naval. There really are a ton of guys. Wasn't an easy task for my purposes. |

One of these days I need to sit down with my military consultant and organize my team up. I got some rough idea how they fit together, but I'd like a dash of authenticity. |

When I was in the Navy, there was the command organizational chart that showed the overall chain of command; but what you really worried about on any given day was the duty roster so you knew who was actually in the building then. The Joe team would operate similarly, imho. COBRA doesn't wait until normal business hours to commit their evil deeds, so there would need to be Joes on-call 24/7, and Hawk [LASER BLAST] a lot when he doesn't get his sleep. I'd break it down into 4 groups that rotated shifts and days off, each with a CO, XO, First Shirt, Heavy Weapons specialist, rotor wing pilot, etc, etc, etc. |

i haven't played with my joes much lately... but when i had to group them into teams, i usually just group them by the year they got released, like team 85, team 86, team 90... makes for an interesting combination(s)... except for the Battle Corps assortment... too many to just put in a single team... DEF & Eco-Warriors grouped together, Star Brigade and Mega Marines grouped together. |

I always think of them as needing to be "mission specific" which is why the Joe team members have such a wide array of specialties. So there's no real TO for the Joe Team in my person canon. If they need to infiltrate Cobra Island for a surveillance mission, they grab Beachhead, Snake Eyes, a couple of light infantry guys, maybe Rock N Roll for fire support. If they need to rescue a downed pilot in the jungles of Middle Upper Lower Congo; the grab Flint, Recondo, Chuckles since he has a tropical shirt, maybe Rock N Roll for support. |
