Never heard of it. Were both arms Hydro viper? Did they cut out the webbing? Why would they have test shot this? Were these painted test shots?

Pretty sure these were 1st seen online in early 2004. The popular line of thinking is that the Collector's Club was testing molds Recently returned to Hasbro from Funskool... Both Muskrat and the Hydro Viper were released by Funskool, and the Club would have been prepping for the 2004 set that used Muskrat's body for the Dread Heads.

From what I know, this is correct. They also found a lot of other tooling that Funskool had but never used. And it was all returned to Hasbro around 2004-2006ish.

Yes. Better off in India. At least they used the Hydro-Viper mold.

I was gonna post a pic but I don't want to step on the OP's toes.
There's a lot of really cool club prepro out there... some are oddities
like the "Hydro-Rat"

For example there's a modern Steam Roller where the body etc was
used for a club set. But the test shot is a full on modern Steam Roller, head
and everything.

I have a pic of that but it is attached to a pic of the Muskrat/Hydro heheh.

Nope. Just test shots.

Alright I'll post a pic and hopefully the OP forgives me for doing so as this was his thread.

These were dug up by Glumby in his Chinese Grey Market "travels."

We had the Steam-Roller in all the Declass booths last year because it's a really cool conversation piece. Whenever people see it they can tell it is modern but are still perplexed to see a modern Steam-Roller. More than a few times I've seen people kinda do a double take and then look around and look back and of course then ask about it. If you want better pics you'll have to ask Roshan, since I don't own these. All I have is Glumby's pics from when he was offered them from China.
