Just finished ARAH volume 4 and there is a photo of an Awe striker with 3 25 figures and an 82 stalker. What's up with that?

I believe that is one of the alternate covers that IDW ran that month. They did a few of them with photos of the toys rather than traditional artwork.

Yeah, it was the alternate cover for ARAH #173.

Moved to Joes section.I thought the toy covers were pretty cool. A neat touch considering it is a comic based on a toy and all, plus dios!

You know, looking at that cover again reminds me how much I like the original Stalker. Just something about his face is so much more expressive of his personality than any of the other versions released. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but I've always dug that figure.

That is a timeless figure, due largely to the head sculpt and the camo (The rest of em had flat green fatigues in '82).

Heck ya. I thought they mixed them because the 25th ones may not have "read" as Joes to the casual (retro) fan.

That Stalker still is in my top 5 of all joes. And he was my first joe. Sadly all thats left of him is his head.
