Smalljoes is showing Feb 11th as an arrival date for the Retaliation line. Does anyone know if this is accurate and how long will it take to hit TRU and Target if that is correct?

It is accurate. If you go back and check out the Con coverage last year, a lot of figures had info cards in front of them with the release date of "2/11/2013". I would think that anywhere in that next two week period someone's going to pop up saying Retaliation stuff has been found.

Thanks Agent Viper. I actually found a post saying some 3 packs have already been seen. I'm sure my Target and TRU will be after the date set though. They are always lagging with Joe stuff.

I have 2 Walmarts and a Kmart in driving range that tend to carry quite a bit of movie stuff (Avengers, Spiderman, Batman, etc ) and all of this stuff was on clearance. So here's hoping they are making room for a lot of joe product.

And wow! That's probably the greatest Firefly on the planet. I need that bugger.

I really like all the figures in these new 3-packs. The credit card is gonna take a hit when they show up. Oh wait...I can just spend the money I'm not spending on the Convention set. I'm more excited about these Retaliation figs anyway.

I know the feeling. I'm not gonna drop $360 on some on overly bright figures, when I can drop much less on much more impressive figures.

My local Walmart has stocked on new Retaliation stock, namely the second wave of motorcycles (with Flint) and some roleplay items.

If new 3-packs are emerging, I may have to hit TRU.

Some Targets are getting the three packs now, some have asked with the number and got them brought out from the back.

I got my pair of 3packs yday afternoon, y'all! At Target here on the west side of Houston, still $19.99. I'm quite happy, although not without complaint of some degree of reasonability. Airborne's left ankle is mal-molded and doesn't work quite right; I really with they'd sculpted some detail on SS's pelvis as its plainness really detracts from it, imho; I really just don't like how the balaclava heads look on the figs, Hasbro needs to mold the neck socket deeper, imho; and I'm irked that I gotta disassemble SE's thighs to get his harness off.

*Whew!* Although, aside from the ankle, none of its really crucial and everything else is so nice ya just gotta be happy, esp at just $20 a set. A respectful amount, but not butt-piratingly high at all.

Especially when one considers that FF is sublimely nice. Easily one of the 5 best 25A-format figs so far and likely to remain so for a goodly while at the least.

I saw Retaliation toys at Walgreens today -- $9.99, which is pretty much what everyone else is charging, right?

Also, I recall that someone asked on another thread if the G.I. JOE TROOPER figure would be coming back with the return of the toys. I can confirm that there was one G.I. Joe Trooper in the (admittedly rather small) display, which looked to include two Cobra Commanders, a Storm Shadow, and a Red Ninja.

What wave are these, then? Second wave?

Target near me (right across the street from the Walgreens where I saw some) had nothing, but if the "official" release date is still over a week away, then I'd say at least one Target jumped the gun a bit.
