http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=9&itemid=19872 Judging by the various price points, I think Hasbro is launching another line of miniatures and vehicles. GI Joe Wars... $4.99 is way too low for a GI Joe figure these days. |

No idea what those Special Ops items are. Weirder still is the Tomahawk at $42.99. I mean the ninja set for special ops set could be Micro Force stuff or some kind fo Facebook game add on playing card type stuff. But the Tomahawk isn't priced accordingly if that is true. 655875 Ninja Army Special Ops $3.99 913370 Special Ops Starter Pack $4.99 835442 Special Ops Vehicles $24.99 913230 Special Ops Tomahawk $42.99 |

Skystriker was at the $35-40 price range at retail so maybe they could do a new Tomahawk chopper for slightly more. Possibly. We'll see soon, Toy Fair is in spitting distance now. |

*hopes for Jada HALO 4 like mini figures* I have no interest in a HALO Micro Ops type offering but will admit that for those that are only interested in display and dioramas the idea of small Hiss Tanks , Cobra Soldiers , etc is appealing. On the other hand if said micro figures were 2'' tall with articulation i'd buy in. Jada proved that you can execute well in that scale . Who are we kidding though? At those prices (@$5) it will be Micro Ops style. ...but one can hope. |

I just hope that we're not getting a card game. |

From the website linked to: At today's prices, $42.99 seems a little cheap for a straight out re-issue of the Tomahawk, but it could be a tooled down version like we have seen previously with the Skystriker and Night Raven toys. What exactly does "tooled down" mean? The new Skystriker seems just as complex if not more so than the original with the detailed cockpit. |

The part I bolded is what I'm really interested in, but I don't want statues for figures. I want guys I can pose so I can get the exact scene I want. I'm a TF guy, too, and when the WST (including the unofficial ones, such as Justitoys' offerings) became available, my interest in getting anymore full-sized G1 guys went to virtually nothing. I was finally able to get characters all in roughly the same scale that looked good with Metroplex and Trypticon. If they'd make Sigma 6 (2" sized) scaled figures and vehicles, I'd buy the heck out of them. I'm just about done with the current 4" line, because I've got most of the characters I want, either released or as customs. I'll still buy figures of characters I like or want, if I don't have a better version already, but I won't be buying every figure that hits the pegs. A smaller scale would turn me into a paying customer again, buying up the line so I could do the dios I've always wanted but have been limited by size. Halving the scale allows for much larger dios, and I like that thought. Here's hoping it's something along those lines. |

I'd take a Resolute inspired Tomahawk as well...though the larger sized one...... |

That would be a concern I would have. We ended up with a single seat Skystriker. I would have to wonder if they'd make a Tomahawk single seater with little to no cargo space. They'd still charge the amount being listed, but who would buy it? Also if this were to be a mini line, I'd probably be all in and it would make me want to buy some of the Halo stuff to go with it. I'm more about display than play these days. Not to say I'm giving up the fully articulated struggle or regular sized figures anytime soon. It would just be a neat little additional line. |

In the Skystriker's defense, the modern figures are larger so incorporating 2 in a cockpit in an undersized jet... I don't think the Tomahawk has that problem, 2 in the cockpit, it's just the leg room in the cargo area with the 2 seats facing the single seat and those side guns looking weedy. |

J- That's what I was thinking as well. A Tomahawk for that line, with a few pack in figures would most likely retail around that price point. |

I'm holding out hope for a real Tomahawk. And hoping the cheaper stuff is something like an accessory pack that we've bugged them about in the past. |

Considering Spec-Ops is a game in itself, my best guess for the new line would be interactive game pieces like these: we're starting to see these everywhere, and the pricing sounds just about right. what do you guys think? links: http://www.padvance.com/news/marvel-and-wizkids-release-heroclix-tabapp-for-ipad/ http://www.kotaku.com.au/2012/10/apps-plus-toys-zapped-battleship-and-spellshot/ http://www.zombiegift.com/2012/07/10/zombieburbz-interactive-zombie-game-for-android-and-apple-ios/ http://www.sync-blog.com/sync/2012/09/toys-apps-collide-with-mattels-apptivity.html |
