Seeing Nova's awesome casts in the Critiques section, especially of the Skeletrons, reminded me of something that pops into my head every once in a while. Is there a site that documents, or maybe just a list someone has collected, of all the different-line parts that were used to create early figures and vehicles in the Action Force line (and maybe Joe line, too, since I know there are non-Joe details found in some vehicles)? If not, can anyone provide any information with regards to this? For example, Skeletron's head looks to be a modified HISS driver, and several early Action Force (well, Red Shadows) figures and vehicles were modified Star Wars figures and vehicles. |

No, haven't tried over there yet. Was really hoping to get some thoughts and speculation here on the Joe stuff, too. When I was a kid, it was always neat when I'd see something in a toy line and be able to recognize it was from another toy line, at least partially. For instance, there are the ones I mentioned in my OP, or all the kibble on the Defiant, and TF weapons showing up in Joe, or Joe weapons in TF. |
