Five years ago, who would have thought Lift Ticket would be one of the of the few Joes to have multiple modern versions.

Neat. I was mildly excited about this when it was announced (I was more enthused about the headsets and the Lift-Ticket figure than the vehicle itself), but seeing those pictures reminded me how much I love the Tomahawk and what a fun toy it was. This is a really nice update, and I'll be looking forward to grabbing one as soon as I can.

Also, assuming this actually gets released, does it qualify as the most unexpected vehicle re-release/retool thus far in the modern Joe era? I don't think anybody saw this coming, and it's a very welcome development.

Don't see anything about the rotors turning like the PTE helicopters do to stow easier

Thanks for sharing, Gary. What's your take on how ARAH fit in the seats?

I hate that I love this so much. I was hoping I could pass on this like I have passed on many things like the 30th sky striker, but this one is going to be very hard to resist.

Yo Scramble... So as you might imagine... without the back peg they essentially just slip around... and while the Eaglehawk has foot pegs to keep figures from flopping around inside... they're not working too well with ARAH figures. That being said... someone could probably throw together a seatbelt system for ARAH figs. HOWEVER, ARAH figures fit much better in the cockpit and honestly as I was putting them in the cockpit... I started getting nostalgic and misty eyed. This thing feels like a Tomahawk which I think is a testament to Hasbro's approach. I mean they could have done so much to strip away the iconic feel and they didn't. I think they did well. Here are some pics (I added more over on Declass as well with it basically unassembled as well as pics of a modern figure on the footpegs to show that you can plug a figure in and turn it up-side-down and the figure just stays: http://joedeclassified.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=650&start=0).

Gyre do the rotors turn like they showed at one of the Cons where it'd be easier to stow?

Freefall looks good!

Does it look like any parts are compatible with '86 Tomahawk parts? Probably a long-shot to get the original interior rear deck in there for the old seats....

In order to to replace the deck, you'll have to take the entire thing apart and split the fuselage halves to get it out, it's not that easy and you run the risk of permanently damaging it.

RogueTiger, I think you mean "do the rotors fold up?" I'd hope they'd turn, otherwise that be a really crappy toy helicopter.

I'm excited about this thing, I can find find myself getting more than a couple of them. IT seems to have the look and feel of the vintage version with a few modern additions, like the SkyStriker.

How is Lift Ticket? Full articulation? Goofy grin?

I'm looking forward to this and I still have my original Tomahawk. :)
